Sir, I’m watching all your videos thoroughly. All are very informative.. These days, the price difference of call and put at ATM or OTM1 are more.. what if we select premium close to option instead of strike price in algotest…I’m just trying to match the premium…
Firstly Thankyou Vishal For your constant Support! You are correct , Pricing is quite High . You can also opt for CLOSTED PREMIUM option to match them if that suits you. The results won’t be massively different , Try backtesting and see if you can find something better.
Sir, But I was suggested by Algotest support to choose Candle close as the execution, to expect the results as close as possible to Backtest results. So you noticed LTP to be better than Candle close results in live, or is it only for these EOD strategies this setting is more suitable ?
The Stated Strategies which Have SL on underlying can cause a huge Risk on Capital if kept on candle close . candle close may help you in matching with Backtest But On the Risk front , It is too risky.
