SAN FRANCISCO YOUR SO BEAUTIFUL , ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITY'S I HAVE EVER SEEN , BEAUTIFUL SAN FRANCISCO YOU ARE WOW, GREAT JOB TO THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO YOU KNOW BEAUTY WHEN YOU SEE IT AND YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT COME ALIVE , SAN FRANCISCO YOUR SKYLINE LEAVES LOS ANGELES & SAN DIEGO 'S SKYLINE FAR BEHIND HANDS DOWN .
i walked all over downtown this January. stayed for 2 weeks in mission district . amazing city. the bay an the golden gate bridge . i am from alabama . i never had been past texas before going to cali. oh yea oakland was nice too . 2 big cities that close.
+Angelo Rocha Thanks! I rented an airplane from Oakland Flyers. It's a flight school, and as far as I know, they don't do scenic flights. If you're not a pilot, you can book a lesson with them and ask your instructor to overfly San Francisco.
Thanks! Technically, no permission is needed, as long as you know what you're doing, stay more than 1,000 feet above buildings, and don't accidentally bust SFO class B airspace or Oakland class C airspace. In practice, you really want to be talking to NorCal Approach, who can help keep you out of trouble and give you traffic advisories.
Altitude was 2000, clear of SFO class B. I was probably in OAK class C for most of the video. No clearance is required to enter class C, you just need to be talking to ATC, which I was (NorCal Approach, although I may have been switched over to OAK tower towards the end).

I remember flying over SF at night one time. It was so beautiful 😍
Amazing! Great work :) Can't wait to visit this beautiful city
If you haven’t I highly suggest it once COVID calms down of course. Despite some of the foolery in SF, it is a wonderful place to visit!
amazing upload space_scientist. I smashed that thumbs up on your video. Continue to keep up the excellent work.

Epic video. Did you have to get permission to fly that low over SF?
I love how the music gets sad as soon as you get over Oakland lol

What was your altitude and ATC clearance? Were you clear of SFO's bravo? Looks like you were definitely in Oakland's charlie. Beautiful video.

Did you leave your flaps at 10?
I put down flaps 10 for better stability and lower stall speed in slow flight.
💚

L.A. looks 100 times more better from the sky at night than this....
Yeah, I totally agree. Night flights in and out of LA are the best.
Who cares, LA is garbage and doesn't have beautiful bridges, nor does it have skyscrapers that have Christmas lights on them from the ground up
Will Christie the bay area is about half the size of la metro
You're full of shit. And smog! lol
Benjamin Gutierrez no it’s not. Might wanna research that.
