2021 Franks Hydraulics After Show Lowrider Hopping

- Experiencing Lowrider Car Culture with Skid Society Car Vlogs; revisiting the automotive art form native to California; Lowriding. This video is the eighth part from the 2021 Arizona Super Show Series, a Lowrider show that was our second out of state car culture adventure, as Classic Cars congregated at the State Farm Stadium for the Lowrider Super Show 2021! With this many lowriders in town, it was no surprise that there were a bunch of after-show events for us to attend.
This 2021 Arizona Lowrider Super Show after show was a car show and after hop event hosted by Franks Hydraulics in Arizona. Lowrider Hoppers gathered in the pit for hop battles and the lowrider hopping contest, seeing which lowrider could hit switches the best, achieve the highest hop and hit the back bumper on the ground. Around the hoppers pit was the Lowrider car show, which was packed with clean rides and lowrider cars; everything from 1960s Impalas equipped with custom paint and engraving, to Custom Build G bodys with extensive modifications. That's crap in my book.. I from the 70s when we actually street hopped without all these modifications.. those are junk yard crushing material.. we done all our setups at home.. Gabriel's vs reds vs golds etc.. midnight auto parts vs store bought..

Out here in AZ back in the day we had orlies, reds, wizards, RC hydraulics. And 90% of the time it was set installed. No one could do or compete with what is done now. I remember when pushing on the trunk to get the car to sit was the thing to do, now with the extension and weight it just different, I help out at a shop here in AZ deadly 7 custom and it reminds me of the old school way of doing things with a twist of new school builds.
