I would stop complaining about Stanley, the coaches who are much smarter than we are think he is an NHL player. He is large and they take a longer time to get there. Do you want to loosen if he becomes Chara
He’s not sniffing the lineup with any other cup contenders… we simply don’t have NHL ready defenders with the moose … he’s loved in the locker room I suspect we grab a solid 7th dman at the deadline to solidify that group for a playoff run
I still think Stanley is being showcased as a viable defensemen to add some value to a big splash trade. With the Jets being at the top of the league, he’s not hurting them and in turn will increase the trade package. I can see Stanley, Perfetti, Lambert (and maybe a 1st or 1a/1b prospect) for a Barzal & Dobson or Petterson. Which will shore up the 2C for a few years of good runs ahead of us.
@ nah, it’s not costing the Jets and he’s a big guy. There’s lots of GM’s that want size and will gamble on him. Just watch, he will be gone this trade deadline in a package, I’m sure of it.
Elliot was talking about a 'good player' waiting for the salary cap so they could use percentage in negotiations. I feel like this is probably something similar with ehlers, I don't think he's going anywhere unless Chevy tries to low ball him which I doubt. 8 is fair I think.
Chevy’s comment about 64 implies either they are delusional, they are being evasive so as not to tank his value or they are arrogant and only they are able to ignore bad stats and pump the tires of a press box worthy player. If this organization could ever get serious about its D core- Pionk would be on the bottom pair, Stanley would have been waived last season, Heinola would be traded, we would have acquired a true top 4 RHD and a solid sandpaper bottom pair guy.
You guys need an app you we can listen to these retrospectively

...if that's him being showcased... he's gonna be a life time jet...

Big Stan is the fifth defenseman

I thought Rantenin left because of Jets win and Nate Dogs pouting but... Trade was before 3rd period so its just business

Stanley is playing very well for 7 games now. Miller and Fleury make more mistakes lately
Free Tyrell Bauer.
