Chucky is my favorite character in general and to play but this actually just ruins him example shack he used to be the best killer at shack in the whole game now a 115 m1 killer is better
Nice to see they took a good killer and made them not only worse, but less fun and satisfying because bad players complained a lot. All the while, Nurse and Blight still exist.
Chucky was OP, even the comp survivor players were saying so. Your idea of fun in the game is squashing a team at 5 gens. That's only fun for you, and the world doesn't revolve around you... therefore OP things get nerfed so that it doesn't make people decide to stop playing. For a start, it's a killer with undetectable who you can't see over even short loops in the game and has a dash power that is very easy to control and fast. If you can't win without an OP killer, you are the bad player, nobody else.

as both a killer and survivor player, I never really liked chucky, but not to the point where he should be gutted like this, because people complain. keep in mind that nurse and blight, and even to an extent spirit exist. imo all of those killers are much more annoying to go against then chucky. hope to see these reverted soon (hopefully)
Speed was lowered by 20% but the duration increased by 50% so it ultimately goes farther distance (120% I think). Pair this with extension addons and chaining scamper resets and you can stay in slice and dice for an insane amount and cover crazy distance. Increasing the CD when S&D, Hidey-Ho, AND Scamper are all tied to it is a bit cruel though. Missing a S&D is already too punishing, now its 28 seconds of having NO kit at all.
Was about to comment that. I did not expect Stalky to just not mention the duration increase at all as if it wasn't there As for if that's a nerf or a side-nerf, I still think it's a nerf overall. Chucky's turn rate isn't that great. So duration increase only matters in tight corridors or open spaces since decreased speed means survivors have more time to take cover Good thing for map mobility though

@@KingSN0 I have seen numerous videos from various channels showing the exact opposite. Thrill is fine. The thing that makes it "op" is face the darkness and doctor. How do you fix this? Make totems regress instead of instantly revert to 0%. You keep the perk in a non shit state, and you give poor survivors more counterplay on top of what they already had to begin with.
@@CaptToilet this is quite literally one of the most unhealthy metas in the games history, and any long time player would agree that thrill is busted, they are not going to rework the way totems work so thrill can stay buffed bro they’re just gonna nerf it and they should it’s broken rn. 46 seconds to do a single totem is over half a generator and that is if you don’t get interrupted, the game is on a timer when it starts. Killers want to drag that timer on and survivors want to speed it up so when you have a perk that basically adds the time of multiple generators to something other than generators it is extremely unhealthy for the game

Use the damn UI because the game literally tells you if a hex is in play 4. Use counterforce 5. It's actually not good for the game. This was such a bad decision. Didn't even give us a chance to test it out in a ptb. If you really need another Nerf for Chucky then it just shows that you don't want to learn how to go against him.
I think unfortunately as a killer main it is necessary, they kinda messed up with the way they designed him from the get go because giving a 3rd person killer undetectable and making them so short makes playing against him very unenjoyable.
You typically do not want to use undetectable perks on chucky, 10m radius you can hear Mr giggles,his undetectable part of hidey ho is only there to help him get closer.

And Billy. People forget that Billy is somehow a 115% killer with an insta down ability that serves as a map traversal and also has 0 cooldown.

They nerfed his Slice & dice so much that I just use him as a off brand Ghost face now.

Yeah it's still def useful, I just liked running fast and hitting people. The fun part of the power was just hit really hard for me

Its funny they nerfed chucky but are fine with billy going at 13m/s with virtually only a 2-3 second cd :D
With an instant down on his charge attack, no less. Sometimes I question the developer's line of thinking. Spock would call it illogical.
He’s not that fast anymore after his nerf. Only 12m’s with overdrive and I think like 10.5 normally.

I tried survivor and its boring. I genuinely feel my hands being held at every step. Just the amount of loops close together is ridiculous on its own
