- Troubleshooting the Routing in VMware NSX-T / NSX can be very challenging..
You need to understand the components that make up a Gateway and where these components are deployed. Viewing routing tables is also import so we will show you how to examine the tables in the Edge.. Trace Flow is also an important tool and we will show you how to use it to validate connectivity.

One of the best classes related NSX --- Hopefully more will be coming --- Would be appreciated if you make on complete videos on packet capturing and packet analysis
Thanks for the comment.. I think I can do something on Packet captures.. There are a few ways to do it.. Keep an eye out, I will try to put something together over the next few weeks.. Have a great day..
honestly one of the best NSX series I've ever watched. I've started deploying NSX in my organization and your channel helps a lot to catch up the concepts. Thank you so much. can't wait for new videos!
Wow, thanks!. Really appreciate the comment.. More to come soon. If there is something in particular you are looking for, leave a comment.. Have a great day
great lesson! Thanks!
My pleasure! Have a great day
north-south routing is one of the hardest things to setup in NSX and i'm troubleshooting a perplexing issue right now.. traceflow says that my VM's can ping out to the internet, but pinging inside the VM to the outside world still seems to fail. in any case thanks for the troubleshooting video and keep up the awesome content!
MY pleasure. Try pinging the interface of the uplink from the edge, f it passes, try the internet of the physical router the edge has as a neighbor.. If that fails, check the routing tables on the physical and the edge SR as I showed.. Hope this helps and have a great day
i figured it out! it turns out that traffic was flowing out, but i had to add a SNAT rule to allow traffic back in referencing the t0 gateway uplink. vm's can now ping out no problem! @@TechUnGlued
Very resourceful! Thank you.
I would like to see detailed load balancing debugged
I will add it to the list.. Have a good one
Super 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
i would like to see the edge node troubleshooting video..like how can we troubleshoot if edge node status is unknown? Any way you are doing a great job..Thank you
Thanks very much for the comment.. Maybe a tricky one to do, but I will see if I can give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestion.. Have a great day
Thanks
