If you press esc it shows all the enemies you'll be facing that night, and you can mouse over them for a description. It tells you if they fly, whether they have a melee or ranged attack, and what targets they prioritize.

The names in Thronefall are German. Wildbach means "wild brook/creek/stream", as in an energetic but small river.
Is it pronounced "wildb?"
@@tarrantwolf took me a while to understand, what you meant, but yeah, it is. With the exception, that the "wi" is pronounced like the "wi" of "with".

Was gonna say the same thing as a connoisseur of classical music that often listens to the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, and also a Swedish speaker (Bach in German is like bäck in Swedish, stream or small river).

Yes in the pause menu it tell you exactly what enemies are attacking and gives you a nice little description but that would take away the fun of his surprise and panic with new enemies 😂

Actually this game might be rather German than Scottish, because the Term „Wildbach“ (wild river/wild stream) is German and also this old scripture was commonly used in Germany in medieval times.
Additionally you can see this old scripture in Germany. Example: the title screen of a German newspaper or also on street signs (very common in older districts).
Also the creator is German so.

@@freegaminglp6395 also Johann Sebastian Bach should be the first thing that pops into anyone's mind upon mention of "Bach" and that definitely immediately screams German vibes with zero Scottish overlapping notes. Though I suspect I may be accused of being a grumpy old boomer (actually millennial, but still old and grumpy) complaining about these stupid zoomers and their lack of culture and distasteful music choices.
Edit: also obvious to me as a Swede but probably not to RCE, yes bach is river in German, like bäck is stream or small river in Swedish, and vild is wild in both German and Swedish.

I feel like half the people in this comment section don't understand how the economy works in this game. The less you spend on defences early the more you have for defences later, if you skip a tower and you still survive then you've made the right choice.
