_Perfectly putted together, Bob !_ *_Dominik flies like as if he had stolen the plane :o)_* Great show and great teamwork. Thanks my friend. _Cheers, Horst_
Thanks very much Horst! You did a great job with the camera and I agree, Dominik flew like a man possessed lol. It was fun to collaborate on these videos with you! Have an awesome weekend! Gruss, Bob
WOW!!! Some hucking serious skills there by the young Dominik! Just a couple of points, one, the wing spar is strong for sure, two, my old thumbs would have cramped into knots 20 seconds into that flight with all the stick movement, rudderly ridiculous! Glad for the great outcome considering what could have been! Great camerawork by Horst of course and excellent editing and final video there as alway Commander Bob! BIG rudderless thumbs up to Dominik, Horst and yourself Bob! Cheers to all!
You're not alone Fred, a lot of us were waiting for the Edge to explode in mid-air given the insane nature of the flight that Dominik laid down. This video is evidence that they are built tough and as you say, there is no issue with the wing spar lol. I'm sure we could fly just as well as this youngster, but only in our dreams! It was an honor to edit Horst's camera work, he has a great touch. Thanks for watching and the kind comments Fred! Cheers, Bob
Well, I have seen some super amazing pilots on your channel, but I think this guy may be the best. He has 100% control and No Fear whatsoever! This was some really wild flying. Funny how after he smashed the tail off on the ground his flying skills and confidence went out the window ha ha ha Fantastic stuff Bob, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time (0:
Thanks Jax, but he didn't lose any confidence or skills after he lost the rudder. This plane is almost unflyable without a rudder and he did a great job to get her back down without crashing it. He is an amazing young pilot to be sure. Thanks for watching!
Yes, but at least your plane has a rudder and it provides an important function whether you use it or not. In this case, the rudder was torn off the plane when it hit. I urge you to remove the rudder on your plane so you can see the difference. (Just make sure you don't mind crashing lol) There's a big difference between having a rudder and not using it and not having a rudder at all. (Especially on these big gassers!)
Another great video Bob!! I'm still playing with my DJI4 trying to learn hoe to do what you do so well EDIT Cheers my friend keep the great vids comming :-) Cheers
Hi Gary, thanks for the kind comments! I'll trade you a heap of editing for a DJI4 lol. I'd love to have a 4 and the new Mavic Pro looks pretty awesome too! Many thanks for watching and happy flying to you!
I'm sorry, I don't know. You could ask him through his Facebook page here: facebook.com/dominik.lintner.31?ref=br_rs Thanks very much for watching! Cheers, Bob
Well, your question went from Canada to Germany to Italy back to Germany and then back to Canada lol. The answer is a CF Falcon 29x11. I hope that helps. Happy flying!
Thank you very much. I appreciate your help. Is he using tuned pipes or canisters? If so which ones? I love this flying style and would be happy to copy the same setup on my airplane. thanks
HooEee Bob. I think Dominik must have had a pot of coffee, 14 donuts and 2 Red Bulls before grabbing Charlie Chimples radio and thinking he could fly that plane! HaHaHaHaa. He forgot to zig when he was supposed to zag! Rudder....rudder, we don't need no stinkin rudder!!! Oh Boy! I've got to go take my blood pressure pill!!!
Ha ha ha! Rick, you're wound up tighter than a two dollar watch! I think you should go have a big helping of Texas BBQ and then take a nice nap! Speaking of Charlie, Kevin was telling me that they're doing some work to the park that Charlie, Mark and the boys used to fly at so perhaps we'll see them next year! They were always good for a laugh when you needed one! I think the TH-cam grind got to Mark and I know just how he feels. Take care Rick!
I feel for you Bob. You are kind to us to video and respond. I know it takes a lot of time and effort. Thank You. One of these days I'm going to get another brisket and smoke it. We use to get one and it would cost $12. Now they are proud of them and they are running $50. I guess I'll just stick with my jalapeno bologna!!
You put in just as much time with the camera Rick, and you manage to get in a lot more flying than I do you sly bugger! Yes, the price of a nice cut of meat is getting out of touch. Thanks goodness that jalapeno bologna is awesome lol.

Unflyable without a rudder?
I barely even use mine, just for crosswind landings and a few tricks (0:

Hi, great flying. Im setting up a GP123 for 3d as well. Which prop are you using here?
I will try to find out what prop Dominik was using and will get back to you.
Thanks for watching!

That shit will buff out!
LOL, you're right. The damage was very minor and easy to repair.
Thanks for watching! Cheers!

I have a naturally slow reaction, I can never do this
