      Doug Marko maybe officers should get tickets too for breaking the law like they do on a daily basis. I see cops (CHP) on a daily basis texting and on the phone while they’re driving but I guess if a cop is doing it it’s safer? How can a cop do that in his police car while on duty but yet pull someone over for the same thing and give them a ticket for it? Something don’t seem right with that. What’s the saying? Do as I say not as I do? I’m not saying this cop does that but I’ve seen tons of cops doing that. I have friends of mine that are cops that don’t use their seatbelt as well as talk and text while driving while off duty but yet when they go to work they pull people over for the same exact thing and hand them a ticket. Do you think that’s upholding law and order? Do you think that’s right? People say it’s not about the money but they have no problem taking it from you right? Agencies around the US setup speed traps everyday to make money, there is some agencies that make several million dollars a year and you think it’s not about money? Sorry to say but not all but most police agencies around the US have turned police work into a business for profit, it can be proven! Back in the real days when police really did care about safety it wasn’t about writing tickets it was about educating the public, now it’s about cops hiding in bushes to catch people doing wrong to hand them a ticket and walk away, you tell me how that person is supposed to learn from that? Why not pull someone over and educate them on why you wear a seatbelt or why you don’t speed? How about our officers driving by example rather then seeing them driving around with no seatbelt on, not using blinkers, talking on the cell phone and tailgating? Is it ok for a cop to pull up behind you on the freeway and tailgate the hell out of you till you move over for them because they think they own the road? That sounds like egotistical freeway pirates to me. Everyone that supports that type of behavior is just as bad. When I raised my kids I raised them by example not doing everything bad that I’m yelling at the kids not to do, is that the right way to raise kids or set an example for others? Nope sure ain’t.

      No the kid in the truck is 100% correct about the police in California extorting people. The kid wasn't out to commit crimes, he didn't hurt anyone or damage any property. These cops, especially these ticket machine CHP officers are just out to get people. The CHP officer himself uses a computer while he drives his patrol car. The fact of the matter is the CHP doesn't help anyone, they just generate revenue for the state of California.

      No Name I assure you, if he was one of those cops that wasn’t professional, he wouldn’t care about the camera when the guy started yelling. He genuinely wanted to defuse the situation. A bad cop will respond to aggressive energy with more aggressive energy because it’s all they know how to do. It’s an ego thing. This cop doesn’t seem like that kind of dude. I could be wrong but I’ve seen this cop in several videos on this channel and he’s consistently professional.

      Jaime Padilla in the state of California, Peace Officers (law enforcement) are not required to a wear seatbelt in the course of their duties. Same as how they are permitted to use a cell phone while driving if they are using it in for a law enforcement purpose. Some departments may have a policy that says they may not use a cell phone or must wear a seatbelt, but LEGALLY, they are exempt from those laws.

    • @miketj2516
      @miketj2516 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@connorblake3623 Yes, the people who make the laws and enforce them often ensure that they don't have to follow them. The laws they can't fail to follow are the laws of physics. A cop flying through the windshield of his car because he wasn't wearing a seat belt will be just as dead as a civilian.

    • @connorblake3623
      @connorblake3623 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mike TJ all laws were made for a reason. Peace officers are exempt from seat belt use because it allows them to enter and exit a vehicle quickly in the event of an emergency such as a foot chase or if someone is shooting at them. Also, police are law enforcement. Not law makers. They don’t just walk around making up their own laws as they see fit. That’s not how our government system works.

    The funny thing is that cop told him I know you just pulled out of that parking lot and didn't have your seatbelt on now here's the kicker when the cop got back in his car after he gave the guy a ticket he was driving his car and then he put on his seatbelt I guess what's good for the goose is not good for the gander

    The squalling like a baby and a cornucopia of excuses. Good job for the officer putting his foot down.

    Whoa...he writes a guy a ticket for pulling out of a drive not wearing his seatbelt. At 5:52 the officer is clearly driving and is listening to a call about a hit and run possibly. THEN he himself fastens his own seat belt...while driving. The officer should be wearing HIS seat belt. I'm a supporter of police everywhere...but come on. Belts on first please.

    If the baby pitching a hissy fit would STOP violating the law.....he would not be broke. Mommy & Daddy didn’t teach him very well......NEVER argue with a law enforcement officer for any reason, COMPLY. Take care of the matter in court, don’t attempt to do it in the side of the road!!! GROW UP!!!!!
