Love when 20th and 21st-century composers exercise their tonal craft by writing period pieces (works "in the style of"). It seems to me the value of such works goes beyond the "educational, academic." It's also a means of "re-imagining," of re-composing the music of previous composers. It's very likely a difficult thing to accomplish well ! Wonderful Symphony !!!!

Very good, I hear little bits that are taken straight from his works and other bits that sounds like music he might have composed if he had lived longer, very entertaining.

The one Mozartean trait this symphony completely lacks is catchiness. Except maybe for the opening gesture of the first allegro, I heard not a single sonic event that I could recall three bars later...

if Mozart had not died in 1791 what would he have written after Jupiter-Symphony? ;-)

The world would have seen the greatest "battle" in music ever.Mozart vs.Beethoven.And the winner? The world of music.
