The iOS Zombies games were insanely good. The fact my friends and I could play full on zombies games on our iPods together via bluetooth back in 2009 still blows my mind to this day.
The WaW one still holds a special place in my heart until this day and occasionally I dig out my old iPhone/iPad to play some rounds, although I would wish I could play it on my modern Android phone like I can with the BO equivalent. I have high hopes that touchHLE will eventually support the WaW game, well one can dream I suppose...

I have fond childhood memories of Modern Warfare on DS. I would be at high school basketball games with my parents as a young kid cause my older sister was a cheerleader for the teams. I had friends similar situations that would be there. We all brought DS’ every game. One of my friends had MW for the DS, and over local download play, we would spend hours on the wetwork map deathmatching. Good times

So basically what I’ve heard was that they released cod waw zombies 2 with verruckt and maybe shi no numa but later dropped that and then cod waw zombies hd with better graphics. But eventually both of those games were left behind and they went back to the original game and added all of the maps

Fun fact: I’ve had Black Ops for the DS for a year or two now. I actually find it fun, and I do not care about the horrid graphics due to how fun it is. I’m also trying to acquire MW 1-3 and World at War for the DS. My favorite mission was Mission 9, “New Alliance”, because I loved the short gameplay and the amount of destruction in the mission. I’ve also beaten the entire game on Veteran.

Cod zombies mobile was what me and the boys played in high school during class all day. All these years later and we meet up at my place a couple times a month to play Cold War zombies and watch old gundam shows. Not just helped with harry potter, they had also eorked on midnight club for gba, rainbow six for ps1, world war zero ps2, 007 from russia with love psp to name even more Theyre currently resposible for the sniper elite series, zombie army series and Evil Genius 2 to name a few.

Its crazy to think of the difference between CoD on early gen iPhones and CoD on the DS. The iPhone versions look so much more polished and actually something Activision themselves would produce.
I remember being quote mad when i got my vita. It was a black ops bundled vita with a 4 gig card. Searched that entire box for a roads to victory code but wasnt there. Keep in mind i boight it 2 days after the game came out
Personally I have only played modern warfare in the DS and Black Ops Zombies on IOS. Honestly, with VR tech being so good this generation. I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a zombies VR mode from the franchise. That could be so awesome and bring a new device and player base to the call of duty franchise. I would want to play that non stop if it was on something like the quest 3 or so.
VR isn't as fun for zombies. Like imagine ACTUALLY seeing the same shit for 100+ rounds as if it were real. The motion sickness would also be insane. Theres plenty of hacknslash games on VR - guns too. But what you want is a cod zombies Map in that game. Not an actual VR cod zombies. Trust me nobody wants that

Hell, there is an assassins creed VR game where you are constantly in motion armoring over things. Motion developers don’t give a shit about that beyond simple game design lol. It’s a thing people would want and could be a great action arcade side game for VR users. It’s an untapped potential and market for cod. Especially, after the failure of their futurist JACKAL Assault beta VR game.

Funny, I remember the game being quite smooth. And touch aiming being the default was actually easy to handle. And I did get to play multiplayer. AK-74u was cracked. Virtually zero recoil and good damage at any range. 2nd edit: You know what makes BODS Zombies special? You can shoot the power-ups to collect them.

We used to play zombies ds in the car or wherever we could . Good times when you remember its got none of the good features of the flagship versions

I think it would've been cool to mention how BO2 was also released on the WiiU. Not an odd entry like the ds games but still cool that they we're able to port actual BO2 on a Wii system.
As a Call of Duty Online player, I have to say that the failure of this game is that with the introduction of pick10, some of the paid items that were just cool have become very balance-impairing, such as the dual-form morphing weapons. They are usually two main weapons combined together for long range and close range combat, like the G-36 and the MP5K, the HK416 and the AA-12, the MK20SSR and the P-90, and so on (using the names of the actual weapons in reality). Prior to the introduction of pick10 you could use the overkill skill to get a similar effect but without the sidearm, but both primary weapons had the advantage of using their own appropriate fittings without having to share a common set of fittings, so it's fair to say that there are advantages and disadvantages to each. With the introduction of pick10, the option of overkill and matching the two main weapons with their own accessories would already cost 7 points, whereas those morphing weapons would only cost 3 points at this point, giving them a huge advantage. If you don't buy them outright when they first go on sale at an extremely expensive price, you'll have to fight endless loot boxes to get them.
Call of Duty aside, the Vita was an amazing handheld for the time, extremely underrated and even with the smaller library it has a lot of really good games, I mean Persona 4, FFX and X2 (even though those were ports, Gravity Rush, granted most were JRPGs and such but I wish it had a longer life because it could have gone far.
I never had a vita but I wish I did. I had the original PSP and I loved it. That being said however I can't for the life of me understand why the PSP only got 1 analog stick. Even without the hardware boost the vita would ultimately get, that 2nd analog stick was worth the price of the upgrade by itself. The vita was ahead of its time. We know this now by looking at the sales for the Nintendo switch now. Tragic really

10:45 i always thought it was suppose to fill out gaps between the missions as in what were they doing between Makin, Peleliu & Okinawa in that version, so basically either Polonsky or Roebuck still don't survive, the PS2 game just ends before the Okinawa missions that we know from the main game But alas there are still some differences but i blame that on it still being 2 games, Alone in the Dark 2008 also had that issue of 6th gen & 7th gen/PC being sometimes way different (events, characters, sections changed or not present in one version or the other) even though they follow same story, hence this weird thing with Miller having Joe instead of his name starting with C

Got a vita and a psp. I have roads to victory on my psp and BO:DC on my vita. Also with a modified PSTV you can play BO:DC on a full screen TV with a PS4 controller like an actual cod. So cool
I played BO zombies and WAW zombies on mobile for way too long, and I also played a ton of Black Ops Declassified. All three games were so awesome, I wish Activision didnt take down the mobile zombies games, playing one of those again would be a huge nostalgia trip.
Black Ops Declassified for the Ps Vita is a solid one. Campaign is kind of boring and irrelevant for COD’s lore (except for the last mission) but multiplayer is very good. It’s basically a BO1 port for the Vita but it also has things from the Modern Warfare saga like the Shipment map or the Striker shotgun. Overall a very solid and enjoyable multiplayer 👌🏻
Yeah "rebellion" who makes all the sniper elite and zombie trilogy is mostly known for Harry Potter, I love these types of videos but when the creators don't take the time to do research and spout dumb shit every other minute it makes it hard to watch

I was the guy who loved World At War Final Fronts for the PS2. I grew up with a PS2, and for many years I couldn’t get a PS3 because we couldn’t afford it. My PS2 didn’t even have internet so single player only. My friend from school told me about COD zombies on WAW so I went out and played WAW Final Fronts PS2. At this point my only FPS I had ever played was Call of Duty Big Red One so Final Fronts felt INCREDIBLE when I played it. It was only after beating the game and not getting the zombie cutscene, I had found out that the PS2 version was different than the PS3 version. So to me, I view it as “the best PS2 era Cod with an even better PS3 port”
Only good bit of Black ops declassified was the multiplayer. Campaign was just bad and hostiles was repetitive af. Killzone mercenary was a way better shooter on the ps vita
I literally played the hell out of almost all of these, the ds games and then later then iphone (at the time for me ipod) games were great for playing on the bus with friends. The ds games all supported download play which was huge
not gonna lie. some of the DS cod 4 and WaW MP maps were actually amazing. Dock 26 was one of the DS download play maps and its actually nostalgic if you had a friend to play with you. criminal it never came back
I played SO MUCH of black ops declassified, I still know a lot of glitches to go out of the map... also, boz was awesome. and strikes team, I played so much of it and I am very sad it can't be played on my phone anymore :( zombies on cod mobile isn't the same thing... although I like the normal mp
WaW final fronts pissed me off. I was just a kid then, and my parents had just started letting me play T rated games. I found out WaW had zombies and it looked so fun and i wanted to try it. Got final fronts and was so exited to get to try zombies. I scoured that game top to bottom trying to find the zombies mode. Because I was so young it took me quite awhile to realize it wasn't in the PS2 version. My little heart was crushed when i finally figured that out.
As an individual whose played literally every fps game made for classic Nintendo systems (it was a pain btw) if you put your mindset away from modern gaming and bring your mindset to the ds Hayday it's alright. Sure you could take the campaigns put them anywhere. But I like to think that the events of the ds games were happening while the mainline console games were happening.
My teacher in High School was handing out those little Dell touch screen thingys. I think it was for a school project where we had to use it to program an arduino. Really weird stuff.

Prior to the introduction of pick10 you could use the overkill skill to get a similar effect but without the sidearm, but both primary weapons had the advantage of using their own appropriate fittings without having to share a common set of fittings, so it's fair to say that there are advantages and disadvantages to each. With the introduction of pick10, the option of overkill and matching the two main weapons with their own accessories would already cost 7 points, whereas those morphing weapons would only cost 3 points at this point, giving them a huge advantage. If you don't buy them outright when they first go on sale at an extremely expensive price, you'll have to fight endless loot boxes to get them.
Call of Duty aside, the Vita was an amazing handheld for the time, extremely underrated and even with the smaller library it has a lot of really good games, I mean Persona 4, FFX and X2 (even though those were ports, Gravity Rush, granted most were JRPGs and such but I wish it had a longer life because it could have gone far.
I never had a vita but I wish I did. I had the original PSP and I loved it. That being said however I can't for the life of me understand why the PSP only got 1 analog stick. Even without the hardware boost the vita would ultimately get, that 2nd analog stick was worth the price of the upgrade by itself. The vita was ahead of its time. We know this now by looking at the sales for the Nintendo switch now. Tragic really

10:45 i always thought it was suppose to fill out gaps between the missions as in what were they doing between Makin, Peleliu & Okinawa in that version, so basically either Polonsky or Roebuck still don't survive, the PS2 game just ends before the Okinawa missions that we know from the main game
But alas there are still some differences but i blame that on it still being 2 games, Alone in the Dark 2008 also had that issue of 6th gen & 7th gen/PC being sometimes way different (events, characters, sections changed or not present in one version or the other) even though they follow same story, hence this weird thing with Miller having Joe instead of his name starting with C

Black ops on the ds was so fun, I remember playing zombies with all my friends in the lunch room (to be fair it’s mostly nostalgia but it was crazy at the time)

Got a vita and a psp. I have roads to victory on my psp and BO:DC on my vita. Also with a modified PSTV you can play BO:DC on a full screen TV with a PS4 controller like an actual cod. So cool

I played BO zombies and WAW zombies on mobile for way too long, and I also played a ton of Black Ops Declassified. All three games were so awesome, I wish Activision didnt take down the mobile zombies games, playing one of those again would be a huge nostalgia trip.

Black Ops Declassified for the Ps Vita is a solid one. Campaign is kind of boring and irrelevant for COD’s lore (except for the last mission) but multiplayer is very good.
It’s basically a BO1 port for the Vita but it also has things from the Modern Warfare saga like the Shipment map or the Striker shotgun. Overall a very solid and enjoyable multiplayer 👌🏻

I was the guy who loved World At War Final Fronts for the PS2. I grew up with a PS2, and for many years I couldn’t get a PS3 because we couldn’t afford it. My PS2 didn’t even have internet so single player only. My friend from school told me about COD zombies on WAW so I went out and played WAW Final Fronts PS2. At this point my only FPS I had ever played was Call of Duty Big Red One so Final Fronts felt INCREDIBLE when I played it. It was only after beating the game and not getting the zombie cutscene, I had found out that the PS2 version was different than the PS3 version. So to me, I view it as “the best PS2 era Cod with an even better PS3 port”

I literally played the hell out of almost all of these, the ds games and then later then iphone (at the time for me ipod) games were great for playing on the bus with friends. The ds games all supported download play which was huge

I loved the Strike Force missions from BO2, so I would have loved a PC/console version of Strike Team.
WaW final fronts pissed me off. I was just a kid then, and my parents had just started letting me play T rated games. I found out WaW had zombies and it looked so fun and i wanted to try it. Got final fronts and was so exited to get to try zombies. I scoured that game top to bottom trying to find the zombies mode. Because I was so young it took me quite awhile to realize it wasn't in the PS2 version. My little heart was crushed when i finally figured that out.

As an individual whose played literally every fps game made for classic Nintendo systems (it was a pain btw) if you put your mindset away from modern gaming and bring your mindset to the ds Hayday it's alright.
Sure you could take the campaigns put them anywhere.
But I like to think that the events of the ds games were happening while the mainline console games were happening.
