    sir congratulation for your work! it helps me to learn more about this area of comunication that i like , it is not possible to me go to University, but i work in this area for some years, not in the engeneer level but in the assembly of equipment of comunication, and I have my afterwork hobbies in the same area like amateur radio.
    I have a question to you sir... can you explain the work of the circular cicloyd antennas? Like they use in FM broadcasting? Not are the crossed dipoles, But the ring with stubs antenna.

    If I want to use a large loop antenna for listening to S/W stations, for instance drawn from corner to corner in my attic, is there any danger that, since it is a big induction loop, there might be spikes that might fry a cheap SW receiver? Should one for instance connect a small series capacitor and a parallel resistor to the connector to protect the receiver?

    I have a full wavelength loop antenna in a triangle. One point is 30 feet from the ground. 2 other points are 10 feet from ground. Where would you suggest I feed the loop antenna with 75 ohm coax for low angle of radiation ? Right now I have it at bottom left corner of triangle. Should I stay with 75 ohm coax or use 600ohm open wire ?

    QUESTION: Is it accurate to say that if you use a SMALL loop antenna as a receiving antenna, it is in fact simply an induction loop, because the magnetic flux, which goes through the loop, and which is caused by the magnetic component of the radio wave, fluctuates at the frequency of the wave, and simply induces a voltage in the loop? If that is the case, then we could completely ignore the E component, right?

    If small loop antenna on XY plane at the original of coordinates. An elementary dipole oriented along Y axis is placed at different observation points in the XZ plane, in that case where can I get the higher level of signal? (0,0,10) or (10,0,10) , (30,0,0), (10,0,20)??

      Radiation pattern depends on modes, it is not depending on size.
