And I think he just wanted to explore what he could do as a solo artist, and as far as them getting back together I highly doubt it, I think they all are more happier as solo artists, and they get to make the music they enjoy since they have very different taste. But a small reunion at some point would be nice. Since we never got a goodbye.

I honestly think from loving a lot of other bands and musicians over the years, that what they might (and honestly should) do, is at some point in the next few years come out with a final reunion album and worldwide tour and officially end the band. What with everything going on in everyone's personal lives and their different career paths - and how successful most of them are with their solo careers - I don't think they would all want to reunite as a band forever.

I HIGHLY doubt a reunion will happen. They all seem to be enjoying their solo careers and doing the music they're passionate about. In an interview, Louis said he has a 5-7 album plan for his solo career so that's at least 10-15 years that he still wants to be making solo music, which I'm very excited about. So yeah, I don't see them getting back together. Maybe they'll do one reunion tour when they're all in their 60s for the nostalgia but idk

At least there’s still some friendships. I’m a solo stan, but that makes me really happy and I feel during this quarantine a lot of people have become one direction fans. When you watch their old performances and live tours, you can see how talented each and every one of them is individually. It’s seems like Niall, Liam and Louis wouldn’t mind getting together. With Harry, I’m honestly not sure.
My thoughts: I do think there will be some form of reunion in the next year. I don't necessarily think they'll get back together for an entire new album and tour together, but I do think they'll reunite, even if it's just a 1 time thing. The part that I've only heard rumors about but that I'm hoping is true is that parts of their 1D contract are still active through December of this year. IF that's true, and considering how toxic their former management was, I'm sure they're just waiting for that to pass so that they can have the freedom to go about when and how they reunite, without having to worry about all the contractual BS. I feel like they arent ready because Liam and Louis have only 2 albums and they all want to do different things still and that's not bad at all. For Zayn, if he really left because of managment then he could come back or at least do a colab but he didn't like the music and i am not saying they cant do something the way Zayn wants it, because they are grown men now they are not kids to do whatever they are told to and they would change managment either way, but zayn's music doesnt really suit a band. Zayn & Harry are much more successful as solo artists (right now) and their music is so different that they won't come back (Best case scenario is what you said like a final tour or something in at least 5 or 10 years from now) Harry is most probably the one who asked for the hiatus after zayn left which make sence (which has nothing to do with beung grateful to the band and the experience) since louis niall and liam didn't seem ready. I think even niall is starting to enjoy his solo music, that's why they didn't do anything on their anniversary (to not overshadow their solo careers) For me, i like their solo careers and just wanna see them in good terms, hang out or collab. A final tour together with zayn & a different management would be awesome.

The part that I've only heard rumors about but that I'm hoping is true is that parts of their 1D contract are still active through December of this year. IF that's true, and considering how toxic their former management was, I'm sure they're just waiting for that to pass so that they can have the freedom to go about when and how they reunite, without having to worry about all the contractual BS. Also, remember around the time of their 10 year anniversary on Niall and Liam's IG Live how Liam mentioned that "3 way FaceTime?" And Harry's response to the question around that same time ("I don't know if that's the reunion WE'VE had in mind") tells me that Liam, Niall, Louis, and even Harry are all for some kind of reunion in the near future. The question is WHEN???

I don’t get why people think Harry wouldn’t be on board of the whole reunion thing if it was to ever happen??? Obviously they’re all very busy rn but all of them loved 1D and would love to do like a reunion tour or something (even if it was one show). The only reason he doesn’t have many clips about this ‘reunion’ is because his team blacklist them to focus on his career only (As all of the boys’ teams should tbh) but Harry genuinely loved 1D and would definitely get back with them when it’s the right time.

9:50 I don’t think they’d get back together but not because Harry is so successful, I’ve known Harry for the past 10 years and I know success as in charts doesn’t mean a thing to him, but they’re all happy doing what they’re doing so it’d be stupid of all of them to drop their solo careers for 1D, especially if 1D is still under that awful management no way in hell I’d want them to do that. Their happiness matters the most. I think Harry would definitely be on board for a reunion (even if it was just yk a tour then ending it permanently) as long as they’re not busy as in schedules and plans and tours (which all of them are for at least the next two years, give or take depending on the COVID situation) but yeah I think especially Harry actually because he genuinely loved 1D and their music and tours he’d be on board if it was to ever happen.
I get what you said about Niall and Liam being ready, but although Louis would totally be down for it, I don't think he is ready as well, he hasn't even had his own tour, or made a second album like he wants, cause it took him a little longer. Don't think Zayn would do it, but don't think that would stop the other 4, they were already doing it without Zayn. So, yeah I don't think Harry is ready now or any time too soon, but also Louis. That's just my opinion of course :)

it was like jeffrey was reading my mind, i think its not happening until 2025 and also i didn't had high expectations from this 10th anniversary but i think if the pandemic wasn't going on, something would have happened like a photo or a small video together,etc and i definitely don't think that zayn would comeback and that's what hurts the most. i mean only time will tell....and maybe someday the comments would be "who is here after 1d reunion"....*sobbing* its just that the memories hurt, the promises hurt, and sometimes i even think how would have their next album sounded like in 2017 as a group cause their voices changed so much,.. ok thats it!! even writing this comment hurts...

U were talking abt if Zayn would come back with the boys. What I feel is I don't think he would coz technically if we see he left the band n then the boys went in a hiatus. So he wasn't even in the band when the went on a break. Don't get me wrong I would die to see the boys along with Zayn reunite as 1d(coz it's not really 1d without Zayn). But.. being practical , Zayn would not be in the reunion keeping in mind they don't even talk as much as they used to obviously. But whatever happens..

I don't think they'll be getting back together soon, but eventually they will like in a few years when they all did what they wanted on their own🤔
I feel like they arent ready because Liam and Louis have only 2 albums and they all want to do different things still and that's not bad at all. For Zayn, if he really left because of managment then he could come back or at least do a colab but he didn't like the music and i am not saying they cant do something the way Zayn wants it, because they are grown men now they are not kids to do whatever they are told to and they would change managment either way, but zayn's music doesnt really suit a band. They will definitely do at least One show together but for an actual reunion i am still not sure. Also I think Harry now wants to do his movies and even if he didnt care the boys wouldn't let him drop them for them. Finally, the years pass, they are growing and they have moved on, changed perspectives and they arent the teenagers that dropped their lives to make it amd have fun anymore, it would be super hard in my mind to get back into that mentality. And dont foget that lots of actors loved their movies and series but they cant do the same forever and they don't want to be know for doing one thing.

To be honest ! Zayn & Harry are much more successful as solo artists (right now) and their music is so different that they won't come back (Best case scenario is what you said like a final tour or something in at least 5 or 10 years from now)
Harry is most probably the one who asked for the hiatus after zayn left which make sence (which has nothing to do with beung grateful to the band and the experience) since louis niall and liam didn't seem ready.
I think even niall is starting to enjoy his solo music, that's why they didn't do anything on their anniversary (to not overshadow their solo careers)
For me, i like their solo careers and just wanna see them in good terms, hang out or collab.
A final tour together with zayn & a different management would be awesome.
If they are saying that they will come back and just don't know when, then I honestly believe them. Some artists have been able to juggle both solo careers and a group at the same time but as for the 1D boys... I am doubtful. I don't think Zayn will join like ever. He left and is done with the band. The others kept the door open but seeing them now after 5 years I feel they are all fine with where they are. I will still hope for something. But I highly doubt they'd reunite within the next 5 years. And once that time comes around well, it might just feel very wrong for them to reunite as it's been so long and they probably won't even know each other anymore.
