OMG I was at some of those games and what nostalgia to watch those scenes of Chesterfield town centre again. I remember the Wrexham game very well and was directly behind the Kop goal when Beaumont lofted the winner beyond Andy Marriott. I doubt the club will ever reach an FA Cup semi again; apart from a brief flicker in the League Cup 6/7 years back, when we all felt the good times might return. Special time, special team.
O.m.g seems like it was only just yesterday 😮 absolutely love this song and……from saltergate to Wembley….we’ll keep the blue flag flying high!! Bloody hell I was only a young kid but miss the cop lol….saltergate wasn’t the best pitch but for atmosphere I’ve never been anywhere else like it……our new stadium is fantastic but we have to sit……CFC will never get the same atmosphere as we did back then it was fooking awesome ⚽️🔵⚪️
