That is how a Toyota ute should be built. Great thought out mods and lightweight. Everything is there that is needed for a weekend away or a trip around the World. 100 times better than a recent Toyota ute build i have seen on TH-cam! Congrats....

Shaun, I live in Broome, just got back from a week up the Gibb. The 30 would have to be the ultimate 4wd, what an incredible job you've done. I love everything about it, from the classic Toyota paint job, to the Turbo 6. Well done mate

i only took three driving lessons in my life when i was 17 and i hated it so for 36 years I just haven't driven but for some reason i clicked on one of these guys vids at the beginning of the lockdown and i'm addicted and i still have tons of episodes left to watch. All the best from Yorkshire in the UK . And i like to watch it wearing my Cattleman Akubra LOL i also have a driza bone but i'm not sitting indoors with that on haha. hope your government chills out with their restrictions

Absolutely great machine, so envious, my one constructive criticism, I would have thought having the slide out table stored under the drawer would be a better idea so as to use as a worktop at a ideal height! Good on ya Shauno.

This build is just at the sweetspot of power, comfort and weight. Nailed this one! Very close to what I would consider a perfect off road touring vehicle for two people.
You can just see how hard it is for Shaun not to jump out of his skin with excitement. Good on you mate, look forward to seeing the adventures you take the 30 on.

I lived for two years in Victoria and people dump furniture and garbage in the bush, it is disgusting.

Man, my Spanish friend is in Australia who was working on a tree farm. He recently rented a 4x4 to go tour Fraser island and I'm not even more jealous that he may have seen you!! But if you saw a nude Spanish dude running around (he likes to free himself in the elements), I hope you gave him a honk!
