  • Today I am reviewing the edge pro apex knife sharpener.
I have used a lot of different knife sharpeners, but this one is my favorite. It's easy to use and gives great and repeatable results every time
One of the things that makes other stones difficult to use is getting the right angle, but this sharpener locks the angle in place so it wont be changed while you are sharpening your knife

Sweet video. You should definitely add the bench mount accessory as well if you're sharpening on a non pourous surface. It will make that sucker rock solid. 🤘

Cool gadget. Im old skool and use regular whetstones as they do not care how long your blade is. Compound curves and long blades are why I learned to do everything without jigs. As an example a Kris dagger wouldn't work on that setup. Neil Kamimura has the best vids on hand grinding and sharpening.
    Forge On!!!

Yeah, I will always love a whetstone. I think it's important to learn those freehand methods first because jigs and guides can become a vise if that's all you learn

My serrated knife needs sharpening if you would like to practice. 😉😉
