Hell yes! He was so caring,sweet and loyal to her but she just didn't think it was enough. Those last frames where she rushed to tell him she wanted to marry him felt so forced and superficial.
If my fiance went to go see if the man who slept with her mother and grandmother was her father and then slept with him when she found out he wasn't and disappeared on a jet setting adventure with him and I, worried sick about her having disappeared for a day found her making out with him, I wouldn't take her back and I certainly wouldn't do it about 24 hours after finding this all out. This movies wants to act like it's a happy ending but its beyond messed up. the only thing that could make this worse is if their daughter ends up sleeping with Beau. Jeff deserves better.

I was so pissed watching it, this would be a great story as a drama where it highlights cheating is messed up and how there are consequences to it. But no, it's a rom com that basically teaches that people like to get cucked because they get to keep the person they love regardless of their abhorrent actions. She shouldn't have gotten what she wanted, the movie kept her actions as if it were something funny or at most "weird" but nothing seriously fucked up. Seeing cheating being shown in this light seriously pissed me off lol

This was a harshly criticised movie when it came out, but I LOVE it. I don’t know if it’s great, but it’s just one of those extremely watchable and soothing 6pm-on-a-Saturday romantic comedies from the 2000s with a cast that’s lovable and solid. Love to watch and rewatch.
If she would have ended up single, and decided she wanted the kind of love her mom had, it would've been a better ending. Jeff didn't deserve that, and I think it would've made more sense.

I just read an article on yahoo news where a 27 year old woman proposed to her 70 +year old boyfriend. I am sorry. I just think gold digger when stuff like that happens. And my favorite show just had an episode where a young man 35 years younger than his girlfriend proposed to his girlfriend. I am sorry but I just don’t feel comfortable with it. I wouldn’t stop anyone from marrying someone but I myself don’t want a guy more than 14 years older than me. That’s the max. It's clair to everybody that she became famous thanks to Rachel, it's iconic, and she has done mostly romantic comedies... it's like we got used to see her, the sweet and funny girl, maybe cause she actually is like this, besides she's really a terrific dramatic actor

It was one of the rare shitty movies I watched and regretted. The essence of what is referred to as "Living in the Moment" in the movie is: "Seeing the possibilities of the present, not getting too attached to the past and the future". However, what is suggested here as "live in the moment" has been to act completely irresponsibly! And it was one of those films that tried to make unprincipled and infidelity seem normal. Even many animals have a more principled sexuality than this western man, he does not mate with anyone! The ending of the movie is not at all satisfying and acceptable! They also showed how absurd, empty things some women's worlds are.

O que tem de assustador nesse filme é que ela dormiu com um cara que podia ser o pai dela. E isso acaba diminuindo a parte que ela trai o noivo. 😂😂 Não recomendo.

It was one of the rare shitty movies I watched and regretted.

However, what is suggested here as "live in the moment" has been to act completely irresponsibly! And it was one of those films that tried to make unprincipled and infidelity seem normal. Even many animals have a more principled sexuality than this western man, he does not mate with anyone! The ending of the movie is not at all satisfying and acceptable! They also showed how absurd, empty things some women's worlds are.

Usually i consider that everyone might have different opinion regarding a movie or anything else for that matter, But in this case It was a creepy movie and if you found it funny then I think either you are sick dude or watched too much porn to realise that in real life, sex after engagement is a fucked up thing.
