I dunno. I like the mesh grille myself. But I agree about the other mods. Never been a big fan of the STI wing in general. That said I put on a duck bill spoiler on mine.
Thats why i lifted my vb with crosstrek suspension, i was getting tired of everyone doing the same stuff and i wanted to be different, theres only one other guy who has done it from what i know, but i got the idea from him😂
@@monorailconrad117 every VB at the car shows looks the same around here 😂🤣😂😂 vb platform needs some serious revamping of parts offerings if it’s going to stay relevant.

@@chief8269 that’s another topic for another day. The visual mods are lacking. Everyone is coming out with the same stuff and not adding anything of value to the variety of options. Everything is the same and all the cars look alike because of it.
Ive never seen a car that looks better stock more often than when people start sticking stuff on with double sided tape. It's so bad what some people do to these cars.
@Subi_doo oh they go to that point and way past. I'm not sure if you're running spacers for the stock rims to fit as well as they do but all I would change on yours is a set of CE28's in gunmetal or something. To each his own though. Thanks for the content and not ruining the aesthetic of the WRX
VB WRX is a commuter car that just needs an intake and a DMann Tune to be great. There are only so many options. 1) Stock grill FTW, I don't like gloss black 2) Hella Horns are stupid and a poser move. 3) Rain Visors look like shit 4) Mudflaps they are fine 5) Never seen that, don't know what that is...sounds dumb. 6) STi Wangs look like shit on a VB. I haven't done any of those mods only Performance, Driveline, and Suspension. Personally, I will not purchase or run anything from AFD, Nobel, or JDMuscle....that's most of the trash you are mentioning that everyone does.
Those are all 'mods' for poor people. They're cheap, easy, and for that reason cheap and easy people use them. The fact that you consider these things 'mods' kind of says something about you. The reality is that if you stick as much as you can to actual mods, i.e. shit that improves the function of the car it'll be noticeable. Aero that's actual tested, hood scoops that actually funnel more air into the engine bay for the TMIC or oil cooler if you're running an FMIC, the aforementioned FMIC, vented fenders and bonnet vents to compensate for skid plates adding aero while blocking the path of hot air... List goes on, but that shit is expensive, easier to glue a whirly fan on the side view mirrors and some blinking lights of science under the car. 😂. Honestly, the only time I see any of the stuff you mentioned is in videos making fun of ricers. You can make a bad ass looking WRX VB that handles better and has more power if you budget accordingly and aren't afraid of losing your warranty...wait are you just afraid of losing your warranty? I noticed you said nothing about stance, do coilovers void warranty, or is it because good ones are expensive?
@@murmsuniversalrobotics3938 I worked in sales, and while I have customers willing to spend, I had more customers not willing and always telling me they can get things cheaper off eBay or Amazon. @ Yeah for real, hopefully within due time more parts can be added
Was planning on doing the same but with Eibach springs. Scraped too many times going to events where I had to park on grass. Off with the coils it is.

Springs, reliable power and some lightweight wheels is all you need
I totally agree with you and I cringe every time I see a VB with those “mods” you mentioned, including red/neon green mudflaps. Just terrible lol
@MisakiLeasim In that case, I am going to slap some neon mud flaps on mine just to make you cringe!
