The one swing bisecting Ankentsu is practically throwback to the F-Final era and I love it ... such nostalgia. And the final beam render is very close to 'Luminescent-beam-effect' they used in various attacks from OG2nd onward. I really hope to see such grade of render in a future all-star releases someday.
Ankensatsu genuinely looked cooler in OGs than it does here, though the ending shot is neat at least. The transformations attack is pretty cool even if it's just there because SRW just doesn't do transforming robots anymore.
I'm guessing it's because most of the transformations are weaker than the main form and basically useless. Sure, in the past moving those extra 2 tiles was useful, but with all the ridiculous power parts we have now it's really easy to have units with 15 movement and 11 range post-movement attacks. Just for the record I'm talking about things like Zeta's Waverider or Cybuster's Cybird modes, not complete transformations like Ryujinmaru/Ryuohmaru or Granzon/Neo Granzon.
i would also love to see the soulgain personally, and it would be interesting to see the like 1 interaction the would have with kyosuke and axle even if it was from a/ap (ap was my first srw, so that would be my reason for wanting him) also if we were to get a character from go, the only one it could ever be would be haken and his gespenst (and i would not put it past them) but considering we already have gilliam, only reason to put it in would be for the gespenst kick

This is actually his original design (From SRW 4/F/FF); it wasn't until the early Alpha games that he got his more familiar design.
He just styled his hair differently, let's just say it's his younger phase lol
This is "young" Irm from 4/F/Final. The Irm we see in OG/Alpha is the "grown-up" Irm

Looks fine to me especially for the budget plus being a free unit.
