In Nagaland the weddings are very much short because we take it as ceremony(literally), well there is some fun fare between the relatives and the neighbours but mostly the invitees are only part of the main ceremony which takes only 1 or 2 hours at most !!! 😆
That's my preferred type of marriage, a short ceremony with limited guests, only close friends & family. Big fat weddings with thousand guests r not 4 me at all.

For longer weeding session in northeast part of India, which goes even for days including all the rituals. You have to attend Assamese weeding or Assamese Ahom weeding . It's all together a very unique and different experience you'll get.
