This is an August 2003 episode of Family Feud (from season 4, the first season with Richard Karn); the two teams competing are the Tramels & the Blanks'. 🇺🇲 🇺🇲
Wow! At 16:36, I never knew they used the last few notes of the original Feud theme on any version of Family Feud! It's been heard on the Price is Right as an intro to the Grand Game since 1980.
Still think it's strange they used this theme for only part of a season during Karn's time as host. I always hated the music used with Louis Anderson and thought they came to their senses when they used the '88 theme again. Reverted back again during John O'Hurley's tenure and they still use the 1988 main theme today in 2024 for Steve Harvey's version. Wish they'd mix up the face-off cue now.

Blanks family was on 5 shows in a row all filmed in the same day our brains were fired but was the best time of my life 😊
That’s equivalent for a Jeopardy champion to sweep a 5-game taping in one day.
Congrats to your family

The theme song heard was played for all hosts except Louie Anderson although it was only played occasionally for Richard Karn’s first season
Wasn’t expecting to hear the Grand Game theme.
Never knew they used this during the Karn era. I've always thought it would work well for some segment of Family Feud.
I hope Richard didn't let Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor do the lights. Every fuse in the studio would have blown if he had.
Even if he was just about to, he would just say "I don't think so, Tim". Good ol' Al "Be hostin' the Family Feud" Borland's got that magic clap.
No worries... They hired Bob Vila.

This music was used in Price Is Right's Grand Game a long time!
Nope, that was the 1976 version with no banjo.
It was used in Trivia Trap as well

Yes saw it😁😁
I don't think so Tim.
