The D6 seems incredibly strong pushing those stumps and brush around. Not to mention how it rip’s those stumps out of the ground. Great fun to watch and cheer while you put the D6 through it’s paces.
You are right, the old Cat definitely pulled its weight. Just want to commend you on working to get Betty nursed back to health. She is a beast and rescuing the old girl keeps a good piece of equipment from the scrap heap. Hope she heals well. Love seeing her on the job.

They would then plant a crop around the dead trees the next spring and for a few years after all the while in every spare moment the would continue to ring more trees around the perimeter and chop on any exposed root. After a few years the roots had started rotting enough that the would run a chain or a heavy rope from high up in the tree and pull with a team of oxen, horses,or mules and pull it over. It was a never ending job for the first settlers.
Well, for the most part, you have been lucky on most of the equipment you have bought. I guess getting burned once in awhile has got to be expected. She seems to have a good engine so after this fix maybe She will be a keeper for a long while.

It's a joy to watch a dozer push a BRUSH PILE instead of just a stump, the six has grunt, gonna get this stump and nab this brush pile on the way, so cool.
did you notice that sky when you were pushing the stumps up on the pile? The Kitty Cat seems to be working good even without DEF and a DPF and no Snakes

I know this is redundant, but I have to say it, I love sound of that D6 under load, no load, and even idling, just sweet ole runnin Cat no matter how you look at it. Not good news on Betty, but don’t give up on her, the 6 and Betty together would be an awesome duo. Thanks for the ride along.
That nice cleared field represents a L-O-T of work. You've got it looking great. One summer in south west Saskatchewan the rancher I worked for "broke" 100 acres of prairie sod. No stumps, but lots and lots of stones, boulders and huge rocks. His son used a D6 Cat to roll the boulders out of the ground. I appreciate the amount of work it takes . Thanks for the great video.

Trees can quickly take over your pastures so to bush hog on time saves you from needing the D9.
