Tarte has been coming out with some excellent products lately. Their cream bronzer, man-eater liquid blushes, maracuja juicy lips are all great. And imo their mascaras are underrated and of course the OG Amazonian clay blushes are a classic.

That soft matte Nars foundation looked SO SMOOTH on me....for about an hour. Then it magnified every single.pore on my face plus a zillion I'd never seen before. It's one of the main reasons I highly doubt the advice that matte foundations are best for oily skin, since oily skin usually comes with larger pores. Satins all day every day for me. Only matte foundation I have is one I mixed from Estee lauder double wear and L'Oreal pro matte (which is really a satin imo).

I do follow some other makeup channels and I feel like they’re so careful to avoid saying anything negative about a product or brand and it makes me feel as though I can’t trust them to help me make informed decisions as a consumer. So I always defer to your opinions when I’m shopping because I know you tell the truth!
Totally agree. She is fearless but not afraid to say if it’s personal preference and it doesn’t work for her. You always know where Morgan is coming from.
I love urban decays 24 hr eye liner, not sure if it lasts 24 hours, but it stays on my hooded eyes for a 13 hour shift at the hospital where I work without smudging or flaking, and goes in creamy and doesn’t tug on my mature eyes, but you are correct about the naked palettes, I have 2, they are okay, they need to come up with a new formula.

I feel you about Tom Ford quads! Though I love them and I like how they experiment with formulations, some are def disappointing in pigmentation because they do experiment quite a lot (all wear beautifully though imo, and you can get a great look, iff you want smokey or neutral ish looks). I spend $25 USD sometimes on single shadows from indie and mainstream brands (+ shipping), especially since I don't live in US, so I feel that it's more about perception and how much one wants to spend on makeup.
This video was spot on. And it was reassuring to hear someone else who I respect and trust mentioning the issue with the Tower 28 Bronzinos. I own two and then caught my face in the sun. 🥴. I’m a slightly cool toned neutral gal and the glitter was NOT a good look, especially on my nose.😭
I love the Tom Ford palettes but only the cream-to-powder formula with the TF on the squares. “Nude Dip” and “ Honeymoon” are quite lovely but only for someone who doesn’t like a lot of pigment and prefers a subtle look. Luckily I don’t have any of the awful ones you mentioned but I do try to watch a lot of reviews before I purchase-especially yours. Congrats on getting 100K!

This is so useful! I use a lot of these brands. I agree about not liking skincare in foundations, I already use a proper skincare rotation, and then having skincare again in things like primers and foundations is overload. I prefer foundations to just be foundations. I liked the NARS light reflecting foundation the best this year

Wore it when I was a bridesmaid for my sister last summer in the heat and humidity and it stayed on all day including outdoor pictures and the AC being out in the church for the hour ceremony

I love the westman atelier foundation stick!!!...but only in one way and for one specific purpose lol, and definitely get why you don't like it. While heavy when applied w a brush or sponge and all over, I like to stripe on a small amount to my cheeks and use my fingers to blend in, it evens out my skin tone while not looking makeupy, and is quite long lasting on my oily skin. Good for a minimal and quick hot summer makeup day.
On behalf of Rose Inc., they're cream highlighters and blush are hot garbage. Similar complaints you mentioned with these as the Ilia products. No pigment without lots of efforts and I've tried multiple brushes and applicators, it's so hard to pick up any product.
(Def agree on the Nars radiant longwear.)
OMG I hate that you don’t like the Milk eye primer or the Nars soft matte…those are 2 recents finds that are now holy grail products for me!!! I do have to agree with you on the O/S foundation. I’m oily, and it looked terrible on me. And the matching powder would literally turn a completely different color if you put it on top of ANYTHING else.
I am with you on that Jouer foundation, Morgan❣️ It has to be the most unflattering foundation I've ever used.

I have never tried the ilia sticks but I do like the palette with the colors from the sticks and I know you don’t like it lol….however, I’m shocked at how hard it looked for you to get the color on your cheek! That’s not good at all! I love this type of video and that you save me money lol 😂
I don’t understand why there is so much products that can dry out that do not have any sort of rubber ring or sort of stopper that when you close it that makes completely close and be air tight!

The YSL All Hours concealer is a desert in a bottle
I haven’t tried most of these products but that it superhero mascara I loved! I guess that’s why there’s so many options, everyone’s preference is different.
The kosas tinted brow gel is horrible if you try and build it up it any it just balls up like flakes away makes missing patches in the brows
Yeah, there’s a fine line between applying the first swipe of Air Brow and going for a second. I picked up the Valentino Brow Trio at $40 to try. It has a spoolie, a micro liner to make individual hairs and a slanted pencil to outline them. I’m enjoying it. I tried the Revolution brow soap but I I’m having a hard time using it. I’m going to try Got2b hair glue, it doesn’t leave a white cast, holds all day and lasts forever.
@@that_girl555 if you don't mind a strong hold and it's expensive but the Patrick ta clear gel. brow lamination I think is what it's called is soo good your hair won't move but yea you have to use pencil and pen or whatever you use first but to set the brows it is soooo good and won't move all day

UD used to be my fav eyeshadow 10 years ago, but it's dry now. Too faced eyeshadow is always bad in cute packaging.
Ahhhh now I know what happened to my Tarte chrome pot!!! 🤣 I had the coraly orangey pinky gold one (loved), and thought it must have been forgottenly dropped one day...

That's odd on the Armani shades. I have a metallic rose gold and it's phenomenal either worn on it's own, or as a base for another metallic matte shade. It didn't crease on my hooded eyelids. It's super pigmented and doesn't transfer. Sucks you got some duds.
The one product I don’t like from Abh is the powder bronzer. It has too much pigment and it is patchy. Bare Minerals has a subpar eyeshadow palette. It is a shame because the brand used to have a nice eyeshadow formula.
This is my problem with the urban decay and why I have stopped buying their eyeshadows a long time ago..
Before I say why, just know that I do realize my reasons should not be a reason… But it is…
It’s about the narrow rectangular pans🙄.
Round and square eyeshadow pans we can swirl the brush and go…..
Urban decay rectangular we are forced to go up and down…. So why is that a problem?
As time goes by the center of the rectangle is all aluminum pan… so now I am forced to smash my brushes up into the tight corners to get some product onto the brush… by doing so , I am crushing my brush hairs each and every time. It’s also difficult to get a decent amount onto the brush from those corners….
With so many brands and beautiful quality shadow pallets to choose…. It’s not necessary for me do get pissed off at the shape of an eyeshadow pan 🤷♀️.
So with this being said …… I don’t even look at urban decay pallets… I mean… What do they have against the round or square pans? 😉

I highly disliked that tower 28 tinted sunscreen as well. I returned after trying it once lol
I'm sure it's just me, but the Milk eye primer burned my eyelids like crazy. I tried it twice and it burned both times. Definitely not a fave for me.

I had a hard time with the Kosas foundation at first. I wanted to love it and it does make my skin look better, but by the end of the day it was a little shiny in areas and seemed to evaporate in others. I picked up their cloud set powder and that changed everything. It lasts all day and looks beautiful.
You are so spot on with these picks! I am also in the minority when it comes to the Kosas Foundation. It looks heavy and terrible on me. Have you tried much from Item Beauty? Any recommendations from that brand or Violet Voss?

I felt the exact same or more so bout the HG concealer! I H8 it but though I was doing something wrong! Also, LOVE the Nars soft matte & like 2 mix it too as I'm oily AF and sweaty. Also Fenty matte foundation is my HG summer/club/event one for my oily skin. But a lot of what you say is what I agree with & can't stand. As a lot was unpopular opinion I would think it was my bad when it's not. Fair oily and sweaty skin over here in Australia. So a LOT of products, especially new releases, don't work for me as they're to make glowy, luminous skin and that's a NOPE for me.

Unbelievable! I have been using with nothing but success NARS radiant long wear Foundation for 4 years and it is I would highly recommend it to anybody so I don't know I don't know what to tell you where that's concerned. I also just add it a couple months ago that NARS light reflecting Foundation that is very pretty on my skin. I understand that everything doesn't always work on everyone. I do not see Charlotte Tilbury That is surprising. 🤔 You have to put Charlotte Tilbury on that list but you didn't I'm not surprised! Formula with I have that lys bronzer stick and it works beautifully. So it's a personal thing it doesn't work for you apparently. I respect that these are your opinions but I wish that you'd come out with something more positive I guess. I love your content typically and been a major supporter for going on 3 years . 🤗💐🌅

I love everything from Saie except that concealer! Gosh it looks so bad, I had exactly the same issues. Sticky, no coverage, emphasizes all lines and dryness, and it also breaks up and pills on me pretty much immediately. I hated it so badly! 100% not worth the hype. However their powder is ah-mah-zing!!!! It's the only powder that I've ever loved on my dry skin.

Hey hun by the way congrats on 100k ! that is such qn accomplishment but well deserved💖💖💖 I was wondering if you can suggest a brand of concealer for me? right now im not using one but i need one even though i look younger than i am but under my eyes are not as young. i am 37 and have dry rosey sensitive skin but not that sensitive with makeup. I also cant get to Sephora since i live in Holland. Any suggestions what concealer you love best? i can always find it in the uk or online. hope to hear back!
The huda beauty foundation works so bad lol . I have super oily skin and it just emphasises texture and pores. It also got oily on me 3 hours later.

You should try Smashbox liquid lipsticks you wil hate them. Inconsistent formulas and dries down
