You inspire me. I'm 75 and I built a shelf in my kitchen cabinet. I went to the lumber store and found wood in the junk pile, they did free cuts according to my measurements and I came home and installed my shelf. Your films are beautiful to watch. Thank you.

Yes! It has had the same effect on me. My daybed collapsed when then front wooden slat broke…so I am in the process of fixing it. Because I love that daybed. And I don’t have the extra money to buy a new one.

So the projects you have already accomplished almost all alone in 1,5 years:
    - insulated pipes
    - water pump house
    - garden beds
    - green house
    - growing some of your own food
    - demolished nearly the whole downstairs from inside
    - closed old and also added new windows
    - window frames
    - built an outside wall where there used to be a door
    - demolished inside wall
    - designed new layout inside
    - built a toilet room from scrach + decided the waste system in it
    - downstairs wall paneling
    - replaced ceiling joists
    - replaced floor joist
    - downstairs ceiling paneling + painting
    - built new flooring here and there
    - designed and built a new kitchen
    - chose suitable new systems in it
    - built integrated shelving units
    - made bedroom / office cosier
    - added better lighting
(- and what did I forget?)
You did all this while learning the technics and using new tools AND filming + editing everything for others to see!
You have been SO productive in those conditions. We are impressed! ✨

You teach me that it’s ok to be the person you are.
I start my days slowly, I do what I want and need to do each day.
    Every day is different.
I spend a lot of time fixing simple meals; veggies, fruit, grains, tea. I enjoy what I eat and eat very healthy.
Some days I hang out laundry to dry, even in the winter. It’s January here and I will hand things out today.
I salvage other people’s discards, fix them up and sell at flea markets.
I enjoy keeping things out of the landfill. I screw, glue, refinish, paint, fix whatever is required and then feel a sense of accomplishment.
I also teach yoga and that makes enough to pay my bills.
Otherwise I live like a retired person but will probably never retire!
I enjoy what I do so why would I stop?
I enjoy your calming videos and get inspiration from them. Thank you!

Hello Wild Rosie. We love your videos, viewed from a small island in Denmark. You are a delight. A tip on making your own oat drink/milk, should you wish to make your own: 1 mug of oats: 4 mugs of cold water in a bowl. Leave to stand for a while 1-24 hrs. Using a hand held whizzer give it a good whirl. Sieve through regular mesh sieve. Pour into a bottle and keep in the fridge. Shake well before use. Keep in fridge. Lasts a while...and saves dosh!

If you use the blender for only 1-2 minutes, no soaking before and strain, it'll be less slimy. (Because, let's be honest here, oat is slimy unless processed with enzyms like commercial oat milk.)

Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey of life with us. I did something very similar as you only in the Sierra Mountains in Northern california in my little cabin here on 8 in the forest. Since we haven't gotten any snow here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, I am totally enjoying your snowfall and you trapsing around in it. The cabinetry is awesome. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Rosie, you are doing a wonderful job, as always, and seeing the finished products is so rewarding. I guess others have mentioned it, but the ventilation should be on top - as the heat rises. 💕

Thank you again for a fine video. I admire your perseverance and to see you satisfied and contented of the results… an easy possible way to hide joint gaps is to cover them with a 1 cm quarter round bead or even a triangular bead. Glad to see that your house was “ ALIVE” upon your return. Be well.

I recently was recommended to your TH-cam Channel. I love the nature and artistic touches. Having remodeled old farm house I can appreciate your challenges of not level floors etc.

Rosie, I can't get enough of these videos! Your imagination and creativity are wonderfully inspiring. My husband and I just bought an unfinished cabin and I'm so eager to try some of your kitchen design ideas in our place. Thank you for making and posting these videos and for being you!

The music works beautifully with this segment. Makes me sentimental about snow, which is pretty wacked.

For clean holes with a hole saw drill from both sides. Especially in mdf or particle board

I love your shelving and wardrobe unit! I have very small space myself and in need of storage and coat closet but first my floors need to be leveled out as the house is sinking on one side...such the joys of living in an older structure! Your videos are an inspiration, I love doing projects and like you am the only one here to do them...larger pieces of wood become tricky but with a little ingenuity it is possible. Oh, the space on top of the fridge, put something decorative in front of it like a framed picture or vase...

small hint: when you use the circular saw, use a clamped piece of wood to hold the saw against. Gives you nice straight cuts! ;-)

You always impress me with your knowledge of the things you do and how you achieve them, and although you say it’s not straight when I look at it to me it looks perfect, but you know no room is that straight so when I do see after you have done it looks really good to me so enjoy your renovations 👍

Nice one Rosie, glad your house was not frozen, dont close the hole in the upper corner(put something in front), hot air can escape here, you made holes in the bottom, that will let cold air in when the hot goes out top!!! You look very proffesional with your tools now glad you started with torx, I am amazed you can the paint to dry in that cold weather!!

Just fill any gaps with decorators caulking. It only takes a few minutes to dry, and then just paint it in for a perfect finish. It’s water based too, so easy to wipe flush once applied. Also invest in some foam rollers for painting MDF. You’ll notice a big difference. It’s really coming along now. It’s a great channel. 🙂
