- Probably overdue, according to some, and never even required, according to others. At the end of the day, you will be the one deciding what's the best way to go. This is not that difficult to do. It might come out fairly well done even when it is not done properly....this is the case in this video. It can be improved by getting that fill hole adapter.... I got it already, so I will be using it soon in another vehicle.....and i will, as best as I can, properly level the vehicle. Maybe even have a torque wrench! We'll see. Anyway, don't take this as an instructional video. As I said before, it is not the proper way to do a transmission fluid replacement, even though I think it came out ok. If you decide to do your own fluid change, you will be doing it at your own risk. So, make sure to find as much information as you can to do the job. You can do it yourself and save you some money! Best of luck to you!

Great video. I’m doing the exact same thing. Thanks.
Did you experience any problem after you change the trans fluid, like slipping? Thanks
No problems at all!
The transmission oil capacity is I believe almost 7 quarts. I see you replaced 1.5 to 2 quarts. Are you going to repeat since there is still 5+ quarts of old oil in your transmission?
I am repeating the process. I'm considering removing the transmission fluid pan. By doing that, the amount replaced is about 3.5 quarts..... as far as I understand.
Did you try to replace the filter? Thanks
I did not.
How many miles on your car? Thank you!
100k.... !
1st atf change?
