I am really enjoying the Composition Notebook, so fun to play with paper and goodies in this book. Thank you so much for watching and your kind comments:) Jill
I have watched just about every composition-notebook-turned-into-junk-journal video here on TH-cam. Yours is definitely the very best! My favorite part was the hinges you made for gluing in other papers. You have a new subscriber. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Anna that is very kind of you and so glad to have you as a new subscriber:) The hinges are great for adding papers and to me, give it more of a junk journal style. I hope you are enjoying your journaling as well and thanks for watching. Jill
Thanks, Elizabeth:) The hinge is a fav., of mine for sure.I was enjoying your video this morning too and appreciating your journaling and crochet! Thank you so much for the channel mention that was so kind of you!!!! This is such a great community, I am so happy my little channel is a part of it. Jill
Thank you Fran:) So glad you found my channel and how nice you are a fellow New Englander:) Thanks so much for watching and as pretty as winter can be here, let's hope that spring is around the corner, yes? Happy creating! Jill
I love Melanie Sullivan too! Wish she would post some new videos but understandable for sure. I am so happy to see someone doing a junk journal similar to me! This is my preferred way and nice to see similar styles. I love the idea of chopping one in half! That looks cool.
Thank you and such a fan of Melanie too. Yes, so nice to find journalers in similar styles, sounds like we like the same sorts of things. I have seen journalers chop composition books, but to my surprise they sell them this way now. I was able to get the 1/2 size on Amazon, who knew? Thanks for watching and Happy New Year:) Jill
Ooh the hinge method is such a good idea! I’m using a comp book for fall. Mine has a lot of witting but some collage elements! I just made a video collaging a page in my comp book! I’m definitely going to try the hinge method to add some different types of papers into my journal! Thank you for sharing! 😊
I have found hinging in pretty papers to be one of my favorite techniques lately, so glad you are giving it a try! Love the mix of writing and collage in composition books. I used to mostly write too and now my writing is a lot of hidden journaling. Thanks for watching and happy journaling! Jill
Thanks so much, Allison! I watched your Thrive flip-through yesterday and you're the most fun flip-througher:) Not a word, but I think you know what I mean. Yes, happy about the new comp journal for the fall. An oldie but goodie journal style:) Jill
Hi so glad you found the channel, welcome! I have found hinge pages so useful in journals and altered books. Thanks for subbing and appreciate you being here:) Happy creating!
Just "found" you! Heard you say you live in New England; I am a "misplaced New Englander" 😑! My heart will ALWAYS be in New England. I was raised in Lexington, Mass. The Common (or Green) where the Revolutionary War started was only a maybe 15 min. walk from my home. The best place to grow up. Often vacationed on the Cape. After marrying moved to southern New Hampshire. Loved it! We always went back every Summer. Got dragged here for husband's job...S.E. Michigan; the armpit of America. Very polluted, flat, ugly, just YUCK. So where may I ask, do you live? Enjoyed your channel and subscribed🙂
So glad you found me:) I am a Connecticut gal, so I know exactly what you are talking about with your MA roots:) For a time we had family in the Arlington area, jobs took them elsewhere, but while they were there enjoyed lovely Lexington. Vacationed on the Cape as a kid too! I do love our New England states, and our family's jobs have ended up keeping us here, at least for now. Thanks so much, Eileen, for watching and subscribing! Jill
Just found your channel and enjoyed the simplicity you work with. Do you sew in signatures to make personal journals, or do you prefer ready-made books as shown in this video?
I love seeing everyone's ideas❤
Thanks Elizabeth, agree, so nice to share our journaling ideas with one another:)
"Leave yourself presents" Such a clever idea - and time saver!
