Yeah, Jens is really, really good. I don't know how can he keep with all those videos, always with this kind of quality! All the boring/slow parts cut off, jokes, intros, animations, some math and always new stuff (like the way to show cards, or the win/death at the end of arenas, etc) Cheers!
I spend a fair amount of time editing my videos (not getting paid yet) and I would say yes it is fun. Repetitive but also fun because there are so many "cool" things you can do with a video. Would I edit all day instead of working my office job? Absolutely.

Moat Lurker in N'Zoth decks? You use the battlecry on Sylvanas or Cairne or Tyrion. It destroys it, triggering the deathrattle. As soon as possible, kill off the Moat Lurker. You'll get back your Sylvanas/Cairne/Tyrion, and when it dies, it'll add to your pool of N'Zoth deathrattles. And when that happens, you have a very quality N'Zoth, having summoned a 3/3 and 2 of a powerful deathrattle with it.
Sigh. Didn't Donais say that Firelands Portal being common was justified because the other mage common was "really awful in arena?" How is a 2 mana 2/3 with upside really bad? Sure it's not incredibly likely to trigger its effect, but so what? If you do, the tempo swing might very well just straight up win you the game, and a 2/3 is fine anyway. Ugh. What a joke.

i was thinking about a card for priest that makes it a good control deck and this is what i came with 7 mana 5/5 set your max health to 60 so your health stays the same but the maximum is 60 at least it makes priest a slightly worse version of control warrior ... but at least viable
I think a 9 mana card like that would be fairly balanced actually. The big think is its set to 60 (maybe 45 instead? ) and you still need to heal up to there. Not bad IMO

In my opinion, I think the cards with this expansion are a little disappointing. Now while there's some really good cards and interesting decks with it (Discardlock, Beast Druid), I feel that there are two problems. For one, the neutral cards don't feel like they have a theme or coordinated effect with them. Think about League of Explorers, where there was a lot of Discover cards, and how Blackrock had a lot of Dragons. With this adventure, it feels more like cards you'd see in an expansion. I'm grateful that there's more than 30 ish cards per adventure now, but do we really need a 2-mana 3/2 taunt card as an adventure reward, really? And then there's the matter of interesting mechanics from other adventures/expansions not being used. Where's the "spend all your remaining mana" cards for the classes that don't have a card yet, I was sooooooooo waiting for one of those for everyone. For two, it seems like a lot of cards, while they have good mechanics for attribute decks like Dragons, are playing catch-up for cards that are no longer going to exist in Standard. Once the new year rolls around, we won't have BRM or TGT, so there goes most of the good Dragon cards. As an aside, this also enforces my opinion that this system of keeping a certain amount of cards in Standard is fucking stupid. Just because some cards make people scream OP OP, are you really going to ban those expansions and then force people to craft those cards (to be fair, it is helpful to F2P players, but the point still remains). I feel like Hearthstone should go the Yu-Gi-Oh! route and select really strong cards and Limit (you can only have 1 per deck) or Ban (you can't have any copies) them, then change those limits and bans as new expansions come out or new decks are made. Just seems a lot more practical than saying "fuck you you can't use those cards you spent money on anymore", and don't tell me to play Wild, no one plays Wild lol That's about it for me, I'm still going to get the adventure with gold for the sake of having the cards and because I love the theme of the adventure (because I'm not an edgy 12 year old). If you agree or disagree, I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks days before the adventure comes out.
they're essentially getting into the realm of super power creep and lazy design to where there is a large enough backlash to possibly force them to change how they design cards
they also have pseudo limit system in legends already. plus in the wild, similar to eternal magic formats, if you ban something that is op, you'll being banning cards often or the format will be broken due to the format being "solved"
I think it doesn't really have a theme due to changing of design philosophies. Expansions prior to WoTOG had themes as well such as inspire and jousts which are related to tournaments in TGT or mech in GvG which are related to goblin and gnome ingenuity from WoW

Would an 8 mana 3/3 Battlecry: 'Destroy a minion. Draw a card' be played? If so, Moat Lurker might work with Purify. Please note, I'm not trying to say purify isn't a bad card, but I always like trying to make cards work. Even when it doesn't work (most of the time) I still have fun trying. My Bolster deck actually isn't TOO bad.
+Zevvion You usually just use PW Shield for cycle, and priest has so much draw already, there might aswell be a self-mill priest. Priest is not lacking card-draw but good minions, which is why silence never saw any play.
+Shagglefire I know, Purify is a bad card so if I'm playing devil's advocate I'd have to use any positive argument I can though. If you're building around Purify you probably won't run Cleric so the card draw is good. Purify might also be better because when Rogue gets it through the various burgle cards, it's most often less good than Silence since they haven't built their deck around it.
No one else mentioned it so I will just mention it, a 6 mana 3/3 battlecry:'Destroy a minion' + a 2 mana, 'silence a minion, draw a card" equals a 8 mana 3/3 that destroys a minion without any type of carddraw. After all it costs you 2 cards to get your combo off and you only get 1 card back from it.

Fun fact about Zoobot, the effect does not say "1 Dragon, Beast or Murloc." Playing the shaman class challenge that uses Zoobot, you can buff multiple creatures if they are different types. More importantly, this is basically a pre-nerf shattered sun cleric if you play this turn 3 onto a 2 cost dragon, beast or murloc. Honestly, I would go so far as to say it's good.

I think I agree with what Thijs said about the Spirit Claws. If you get one 3 damage hit and two 1 damage hits with it, it's fair. Two 3 damage hits, and it's excellent. Three 3 damage hits, and it's just insane.
Prince Malchezaar is essentially the f2p luring card. They be like "Wow! 5 Legendaries? Kick fucking ass this card rules! And 5 mana for 5/6? It's just a bigger Yeti!" And then they get Lorewalker Cho which surprisingly I see a lot.

You forgot to mention that moat lurker can destroy your own minions. This gives it a lot of deathrattle synergy. It also can be used to make your board more sticky. I think the card is fucking insane.
I think the full potential of runic egg is in OTK Warrior. Pyro commanding shout synergy makes runic egg an extra draw 1 on battle rage as well as drawing another card when it dies. Probably not good enough to edge anything out of the current deck, since it's not a spell to activate pyro, but I really don't see it being used in any other deck.
Onyx bishop is imo really good. Unlike resurrect where you're trading a card for a card usually unless your minion was killed instead of traded, onyx bishop is card and tempo advantage. When you cast onyx bishop and resurrects a minion, you not only get a minion back alongside onyx bishop which is card advantage, you also nullifies any tempo advantage the opponent gained from killing your minion in the first place
Took me a while to understand that the 1 card in the "Wild" Category in the end graphic was Fool's Bane... Might want to stray away from such specific keywords that are already used in the game, in the future. Just to avoid unnecessary confusion. Great review!
Purify should read : Silence a minion. If it's friendly, Draw a card. Then it would atleast have the flexability to be used on enemy minons at the cost of not getting the card draw. Change the text to this, or the card will never see play. (A 2 mana card draw is similar to warlocks heropower, so the card could atleast cycle itself if there is nothing to silence. Effectivly making your deck smaller, which is actually a good thing aslong as you don't reach fatigue.)
Moat Lurker is sick, if you have any say +3 mana card with decent stats on board with an ok deathrattle or battlecry you can still attack with the card on board which trump didn't take into consideration and I think that makes Moat Lurker really good
so what you do with Moat Lurker is you kill an opponents minion with your deathrattle minion and have it survive, play the moat lurker on your own damaged deathrattle minion, you then get the deathrattle effect, the 3/3 is gonna die easy so your deathrattle comes back, dies and gets its effect again, and now you have 3 minons for n'zoth.
Violet Illusionist needs to be talked about more. Here's a fun scenario: I have Cho'gall and Violet Illusionist in my hand on turn 10. I play both, and suddenly all my spells in my hand are FREE. Hello value? I think it'll be used way more than it's given credit.
I think the moat lurker has potential in nzoth paladin, imagine you destroy your sylvanas, cairne or tirion. In that case it would be like the shaman 2 mana naxx spell which would be "bad" but when you resummon the moat lurker with nzoth, whrn it dies again it will summon another sylvanas, cairne or tirion so it has a lot of value
The Curator would be great on Dragon Paladin, you only need to add a few value cards like Murloc Knight and some cards like Stampeding Kodo for the beast and you get full value
Moat lurker is actually pretty good if you were running say a n'zoth deck because you can trigger your deathrattles twice which in best case scenario = 2 sylvannas + 2 more from n'zoth. I can only imagine in wild the fun people will be having with Baron Rivendare.
Protect the King is likely to be good. Those taunts say "Use a boardwipe, or lose all your attacks for the turn". What makes it bad is that it's in WARRIOR, which means antisynergy with Whirlwind effects. It would have been overpowered in Warlock, Mage, or Paladin.
Moroes is great in slow decks. I run dragon paly and the early game is always slow for me, it sometimes makes me lose because I don't have a good one or two drop. But with moroes, you can manage controlling the board until you make your higher plays. And if the opponent doesn't like it, he uses an AOE. So I made him lose a removal that could've been used to remove bigger minions.
The instant after an arena streamer plays Moat Lurker on their own minion to hide it from AoE as a game winning play, public opinion will turn around immediately on that card. It's like Magic the Gathering all over again, this is adorable.
I guess this is a fairly interesting expansion, though it remains to be seen if many of those "interesting" cards will turn out to be good or not (zoobot, curator, clockwork, etc.) Personally I'm looking forward to making more dragon decks, and beefing up the ones I already have. And I think saying the new Giant is good is probably a safe bet. I expect it to be an instant-add into pretty much every Yogg deck and maybe others like miracle rogue or control shaman. All in all the expansion seems to be pushing for a slower meta with a lot of interesting tools and potential combos, which I'm happy about. Though maybe beast/"zoo" Druid comes out as the new King SMOrc in town.
I think Prince Malchezaar fits into discard warlock only, if it becomes a thing. With Malchezaar's Imp you can run out of cards from your deck faster than regular zoo and you get extra "bad" cards to discard. Also you can get Jaraxxus if you do not play it and have win condition in late game if you get into it. Or maybe I am just trying to fit Prince Malchezaar in some deck. I don't know, but at least I am going to try it.
If I'm holding Malygod in hand and play Barnes, do I still get the 1/1 Maly? If so I'm definitely gonna try out several OHKO combo decks. The downside is obviously that you basically can't run any other minions in the deck for the sake of consistency, so only a few classes can pull it off. Mage and Hunter should definitely work. Druid, Shaman, and Rogue can maybe do it too. In Mage Frostbolt and two Ice Lance's in hand just wins you the game right there. Cabalist's Tome gives more chances to acquire them too. Hunter would need double Quick and Arcane Shot for 30, but their hero power helps lower the dmg needed for lethal consistently. On the Hunt works nicely here as well. Druid needs Moonfires, Living Roots, and probably a Swipe. Raven Idol can help get some of these in hand more easily. Shaman already had the potential to run this archetype with Ancestor's Call. It only kind of works.
Just wanted to note how Onyx Bishop Says:" Summon a friendly minion that died this game" while resurrect says "summon a RANDOM friendly minion that died this game". Idk if that's the case but ok
I disagree with your assessment of Arcane Anomaly in arena. Arena is all about tempo, so very often playing a vanilla 1 mana 2/1 is good enough, but Arcane Anomaly has the additional benefit of becoming a 2/2 if you use a spell on turn two to remove your opponent's minion, meaning that they lose the option to kill it with hero power on the following turn.
I think with moat lurker you're forgetting the potential of destroying your own deathrattle minions, you could put that shaman card "deathrattle resummon this minion" on a big card then get one out or you could combo it with malorne and counter any possible silence to it.
Arcane Anomoly is a really nice Priest card. 2 Mana combo with Power Word: Shield. 2 mana 2/4 and draw a Card. With the potential to survive long enough to trade again with a healing spell like or just healing it back up anyways. Definitely a great card, although it would have been fantastic if Light of the Naaru was still in the format. Still. 2/4 Draw a card is a pretty nice 2 drop for Priests. Arcano Smith is another Priest card that interests me greatly. For 1 more Mana you can Inner Fire the taunt making this a 5 mana 8/7 with Taunt in 2 bodies. Pretty nice, I look forward to seeing people do awesome Priest stuff with these new cards.

Would there be potential for a tempo pirate deck, keeping your hand full by burgling class cards and reducing them by 2 mana to make even more tempo? I'd assume the average class card to be really good when reduced by 2 mana. 2 mana 7/7, 6 mana tyrion, 4 mana highmane would obviously be the dream scenario's, but with the amount of cards you can get and the 2 mana discount almost every class card can get some value/tempo going or am I missing something?

That's about it for me, I'm still going to get the adventure with gold for the sake of having the cards and because I love the theme of the adventure (because I'm not an edgy 12 year old). If you agree or disagree, I'd like to hear what everyone else thinks days before the adventure comes out.
they're essentially getting into the realm of super power creep and lazy design to where there is a large enough backlash to possibly force them to change how they design cards
they also have pseudo limit system in legends already. plus in the wild, similar to eternal magic formats, if you ban something that is op, you'll being banning cards often or the format will be broken due to the format being "solved"
I think it doesn't really have a theme due to changing of design philosophies. Expansions prior to WoTOG had themes as well such as inspire and jousts which are related to tournaments in TGT or mech in GvG which are related to goblin and gnome ingenuity from WoW

Would an 8 mana 3/3 Battlecry: 'Destroy a minion. Draw a card' be played? If so, Moat Lurker might work with Purify. Please note, I'm not trying to say purify isn't a bad card, but I always like trying to make cards work. Even when it doesn't work (most of the time) I still have fun trying. My Bolster deck actually isn't TOO bad.
I really like the idea of purify, but my biggest hate/thing with purify, is that priest already has silence for 0 mana.
Yeah, but Purify might be better in situations where you need cycle.
+Zevvion You usually just use PW Shield for cycle, and priest has so much draw already, there might aswell be a self-mill priest. Priest is not lacking card-draw but good minions, which is why silence never saw any play.
+Shagglefire I know, Purify is a bad card so if I'm playing devil's advocate I'd have to use any positive argument I can though. If you're building around Purify you probably won't run Cleric so the card draw is good. Purify might also be better because when Rogue gets it through the various burgle cards, it's most often less good than Silence since they haven't built their deck around it.
No one else mentioned it so I will just mention it, a 6 mana 3/3 battlecry:'Destroy a minion' + a 2 mana, 'silence a minion, draw a card" equals a 8 mana 3/3 that destroys a minion without any type of carddraw. After all it costs you 2 cards to get your combo off and you only get 1 card back from it.

Fun fact about Zoobot, the effect does not say "1 Dragon, Beast or Murloc." Playing the shaman class challenge that uses Zoobot, you can buff multiple creatures if they are different types. More importantly, this is basically a pre-nerf shattered sun cleric if you play this turn 3 onto a 2 cost dragon, beast or murloc. Honestly, I would go so far as to say it's good.

I think I agree with what Thijs said about the Spirit Claws. If you get one 3 damage hit and two 1 damage hits with it, it's fair. Two 3 damage hits, and it's excellent. Three 3 damage hits, and it's just insane.

You forgot to mention that moat lurker can destroy your own minions. This gives it a lot of deathrattle synergy. It also can be used to make your board more sticky. I think the card is fucking insane.

I think the full potential of runic egg is in OTK Warrior. Pyro commanding shout synergy makes runic egg an extra draw 1 on battle rage as well as drawing another card when it dies. Probably not good enough to edge anything out of the current deck, since it's not a spell to activate pyro, but I really don't see it being used in any other deck.
Onyx bishop is imo really good. Unlike resurrect where you're trading a card for a card usually unless your minion was killed instead of traded, onyx bishop is card and tempo advantage. When you cast onyx bishop and resurrects a minion, you not only get a minion back alongside onyx bishop which is card advantage, you also nullifies any tempo advantage the opponent gained from killing your minion in the first place

Took me a while to understand that the 1 card in the "Wild" Category in the end graphic was Fool's Bane... Might want to stray away from such specific keywords that are already used in the game, in the future. Just to avoid unnecessary confusion.

Purify should read : Silence a minion. If it's friendly, Draw a card.
Then it would atleast have the flexability to be used on enemy minons at the cost of not getting the card draw.
Change the text to this, or the card will never see play.
(A 2 mana card draw is similar to warlocks heropower, so the card could atleast cycle itself if there is nothing to silence.
Effectivly making your deck smaller, which is actually a good thing aslong as you don't reach fatigue.)

Moat Lurker is sick, if you have any say +3 mana card with decent stats on board with an ok deathrattle or battlecry you can still attack with the card on board which trump didn't take into consideration and I think that makes Moat Lurker really good
so what you do with Moat Lurker is you kill an opponents minion with your deathrattle minion and have it survive, play the moat lurker on your own damaged deathrattle minion, you then get the deathrattle effect, the 3/3 is gonna die easy so your deathrattle comes back, dies and gets its effect again, and now you have 3 minons for n'zoth.
Violet Illusionist needs to be talked about more. Here's a fun scenario: I have Cho'gall and Violet Illusionist in my hand on turn 10. I play both, and suddenly all my spells in my hand are FREE. Hello value? I think it'll be used way more than it's given credit.
I think the moat lurker has potential in nzoth paladin, imagine you destroy your sylvanas, cairne or tirion. In that case it would be like the shaman 2 mana naxx spell which would be "bad" but when you resummon the moat lurker with nzoth, whrn it dies again it will summon another sylvanas, cairne or tirion so it has a lot of value
The Curator would be great on Dragon Paladin, you only need to add a few value cards like Murloc Knight and some cards like Stampeding Kodo for the beast and you get full value

Moat lurker is actually pretty good if you were running say a n'zoth deck because you can trigger your deathrattles twice which in best case scenario = 2 sylvannas + 2 more from n'zoth. I can only imagine in wild the fun people will be having with Baron Rivendare.
Protect the King is likely to be good.
Those taunts say "Use a boardwipe, or lose all your attacks for the turn".
What makes it bad is that it's in WARRIOR, which means antisynergy with Whirlwind effects.
It would have been overpowered in Warlock, Mage, or Paladin.
Moroes is great in slow decks. I run dragon paly and the early game is always slow for me, it sometimes makes me lose because I don't have a good one or two drop. But with moroes, you can manage controlling the board until you make your higher plays. And if the opponent doesn't like it, he uses an AOE. So I made him lose a removal that could've been used to remove bigger minions.
The instant after an arena streamer plays Moat Lurker on their own minion to hide it from AoE as a game winning play, public opinion will turn around immediately on that card. It's like Magic the Gathering all over again, this is adorable.

I guess this is a fairly interesting expansion, though it remains to be seen if many of those "interesting" cards will turn out to be good or not (zoobot, curator, clockwork, etc.)
Personally I'm looking forward to making more dragon decks, and beefing up the ones I already have. And I think saying the new Giant is good is probably a safe bet. I expect it to be an instant-add into pretty much every Yogg deck and maybe others like miracle rogue or control shaman.
All in all the expansion seems to be pushing for a slower meta with a lot of interesting tools and potential combos, which I'm happy about. Though maybe beast/"zoo" Druid comes out as the new King SMOrc in town.

I think Prince Malchezaar fits into discard warlock only, if it becomes a thing. With Malchezaar's Imp you can run out of cards from your deck faster than regular zoo and you get extra "bad" cards to discard. Also you can get Jaraxxus if you do not play it and have win condition in late game if you get into it. Or maybe I am just trying to fit Prince Malchezaar in some deck. I don't know, but at least I am going to try it.
If I'm holding Malygod in hand and play Barnes, do I still get the 1/1 Maly? If so I'm definitely gonna try out several OHKO combo decks. The downside is obviously that you basically can't run any other minions in the deck for the sake of consistency, so only a few classes can pull it off. Mage and Hunter should definitely work. Druid, Shaman, and Rogue can maybe do it too.
In Mage Frostbolt and two Ice Lance's in hand just wins you the game right there. Cabalist's Tome gives more chances to acquire them too.
Hunter would need double Quick and Arcane Shot for 30, but their hero power helps lower the dmg needed for lethal consistently. On the Hunt works nicely here as well.
Druid needs Moonfires, Living Roots, and probably a Swipe. Raven Idol can help get some of these in hand more easily.
Shaman already had the potential to run this archetype with Ancestor's Call. It only kind of works.

I disagree with your assessment of Arcane Anomaly in arena. Arena is all about tempo, so very often playing a vanilla 1 mana 2/1 is good enough, but Arcane Anomaly has the additional benefit of becoming a 2/2 if you use a spell on turn two to remove your opponent's minion, meaning that they lose the option to kill it with hero power on the following turn.

I think with moat lurker you're forgetting the potential of destroying your own deathrattle minions, you could put that shaman card "deathrattle resummon this minion" on a big card then get one out or you could combo it with malorne and counter any possible silence to it.

Arcane Anomoly is a really nice Priest card. 2 Mana combo with Power Word: Shield. 2 mana 2/4 and draw a Card. With the potential to survive long enough to trade again with a healing spell like or just healing it back up anyways. Definitely a great card, although it would have been fantastic if Light of the Naaru was still in the format. Still. 2/4 Draw a card is a pretty nice 2 drop for Priests.
Arcano Smith is another Priest card that interests me greatly. For 1 more Mana you can Inner Fire the taunt making this a 5 mana 8/7 with Taunt in 2 bodies. Pretty nice, I look forward to seeing people do awesome Priest stuff with these new cards.

Would there be potential for a tempo pirate deck, keeping your hand full by burgling class cards and reducing them by 2 mana to make even more tempo? I'd assume the average class card to be really good when reduced by 2 mana. 2 mana 7/7, 6 mana tyrion, 4 mana highmane would obviously be the dream scenario's, but with the amount of cards you can get and the 2 mana discount almost every class card can get some value/tempo going or am I missing something?
