The story so far in the Spider-Man Ultimate Series:
After battling the symbiote from within Spider-Man is able to free himself from its control. But the symbiote soon finds a new host in Eddie Brock and both of them form one of Spider-Man's deadliest villains: Venom. After several battles with Venom and after trying to use the symbiote against him, Spider-Man fails to defeat Venom. However, a new enemy forms from the offspring of Venom's symbiote. It joins with a serial killer called Cletus Kasady forming Carnage. Carnage threatens to kill everyone in his path and Venom joins forces with Spider-Man to take him down. In the process Venom and Spider-Man from a temporary alliance. After Carnage falls thanks to Parker's ingenuity and Brocks sacrifice Spider-Man and Venom go their separate ways.

This game takes elements from the Clone Saga. but instead of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, it's the Venom Symbiote that's getting cloned. Who's cloning The Venom Symbiote, Miles Warren/Jackal? Is Jackel the main villain of the game? because it takes elements from the Clone Saga.
