So happy to hear that peach is really coming back. My favorite living room in the 90's with pale peach walls, drapes and carpet complimented by a blue gray marble fireplace and a navy couch with little peach shells in the fabric. It always felt like a warm hug.
Any suggestions for mid/light tone whole house orange beige for LR, DR, foyer, study? I love the time you’ve spent on the undertone wheel! It is very helpful. I’m 75 and hope to paint my house one last time using a neutral peach beige with a glow. Thanks in advance for any ideas. 😎😎
Ditto on the peach comment. My whole house was peach and blue in the 80’s. Been there done that with peach. Love all your other comments about upcoming trends.
#2 Color drenching and counter splash…”I felt a little smarter that day”. You said what I was thinking. 😂Thanks for sharing the great tips and putting a smile on my face. Wishing you a richly blessed new year! 🎉
I purchased a mid80s home where the prior owner did the Tuscan design. It will take the next 12-18 months of my life to replace it with a timeless design. Going for clean look, modern coastal look.
I put in a beautiful peach kitchen in the late 80s. I was in my 20s and was not considering having to live with that forever. I still have the peach coloured kitchen and now it's back in just as I was starting to pressure my husband into a new one .
Maria, I just watched your Top % Design Trends in 2024, and I have been watching as many of your videos as I can only to throw in the towel and start over with all my downstairs renovations. I live in a two story colonial home. We have a kitchen we moved years ago into the middle of the house to create an open concept style which worked best for raising 4 kids. We are empty nesters now and we gutted kitchen and room off the garage to create a utility room, and pantry off the kitchen. I chose black and white diamond marble foyer tile which I enlarged. I want to add wainscoting to the walls in there. I was inspired by pictures on Pinterest to mix green, and stain staircase with the black and white tile. But now I’m stuck with what stone for kitchen, what colors for kitchen. Everything was so dark before that I am obsessed with everything light now. How can I get your help on this. Lighting, flooring, paint, countertops. Ugh
What do you mean you can't just put the latest trend in any home? I live in Texas where you can walk into anything from an 1800s Victorian to a Mid-Century modern and find yourself inside a black and white "modern farmhouse." LOL
@@MariaKillamDesigner It's so prevalent here that we have a term for it. Any house that gets painted white with black trim or redone in all black and white and gray inside has been "Joanna Gainesed" and sadly it happens to a lot of beautiful historic homes.
Thank you for the video. I'm an eighties kid. I wore a peach gown to the Spring formal in 1984. Peach just screams 80's to me 😂
I love your green curtains, what a splash of color!
Can I just say...I LOVE your blouse! Those over-exaggerated collar points are fabulous!

I loved peach at one time. My bedroom was light peach. Pretty at the time.
Subway tile IS the answer! 🙂
Surely is! Maria
As long as it’s not white with black grout 😆

Married in 1980. My "attendents", bridesmaids were in a lovely shade of pale peach.

I love what I see in many English homes in movies where the trim is painted a color and the walls are white or lighter than the trim.

Happy New Year! Thanks for everything you and your team are doing for home happiness that is approachable in cost and process.
I have that yellow Yurman ring. its my favorite.
What about a wood stained range hood with the white subway tile/white cabs/and white quartz counters?
Maria, you speak to me; everyone should take your advice when it come to home remodeling.

What color works with cherry cabinets and a light gray floor?
I am actually looking for a darker, creamy, warm color, so funny that you mentioned other people are as well
Omg just ordered that dickey you are wearing, love the video too
Thank you!!
I just really want your blouse.
It's a dickey and you can get it right here amzn.to/3vxtfCB
It’s in my cart!! Thank you!!
The problem with subway tile is white tile grout that is impossible to keep clean
You are very knowledgable BUT you talk ,talk talk, without saying anything. you are impressive at all!
What's it called when the floor tile is also the backsplash tile... and the countertop tile?
Overwhelming ..?🤷♀️
Is the paint color consultation a session with you and what is the wait time ?
HELP I HAVE A HALLOWEEN KITCHEN!!!! With "Bossy Granite" :(
