Love it!! Those colors are phenomenal 💙💙 Hint for the cabochons: I use golf tees with poster putty on the wide end. Then stick the sharp end into floral foam to let them dry. So easy.

Those large magnets are so cool! I love using this dip method for magnets. I found that you can use poster putty to make little "handles" to use to hold the glass while you dip it. And you can reuse it over and over

Great ideas. I would definitely resin the coasters. These would make awesome gifts.
    Thanks for the ideas. 🦋

Love this and thank you so much for sharing! I was doing the magnets with so many more steps by using dried paint and a round die cut to punch them out, then gluing the cabochon to the magnet. This way, your method, eliminates so many of those steps making it much more enjoyable! Thank you again!!

That first coaster dip reminded me of Van Gogh irises. I love this idea, it attracts my inner child and produces great results!

Hi, I always let the paint dry after adding glitter or colored glass. Then I’ll use a punch to make my circles or scissors for other shapes. I have several boxes of skins I go to and pick a skin to work with. They are so pretty! I use e600 glue. I’ve never made ornaments but that you’d have to do with wet paint unless you want to glue stripes or something like that.

You could maybe arrange coasters around the work piece to catch the runoff. I would dam the edges of them with tape and put a layer of clear resin over them.

Love the cabachons! Not fond of the coasters at the point where you left them in the video but I think they’ll be great with a covering of resin. Not at all enthused with the ornament.

I actually loved the more matched hues that you used, very lovely! Where do you get the glass for magnets and beads? What are they called?

@@tiffykitty1694 do you fill the whole cabochon with paint or just coat the glass, it looked like the whole thing was filled? I have wanted to try this but never knew how to do it.

if it was a tan color, that ornament would have looked great half-covered...like a beach scene

Some silver run around inside the ornament would be pretty and show up in the lightly covered spaces! 💙 What are you using to pour on now? It doesn't look like silicone. Would the run off peel off? Otherwise, how would you get it off to use?

she uses craft or construction paper. when it dries, she just cuts the paper out too.
