I got the Dragon 2 a few months ago. Its my absolute favorite wah ive ever had. Ive had the original crybaby, the dimewah, the 535q, the wylde wah, and this one is my fav. The regular mode is great for higher frets, and the wow is good for lower frets, most wahs only do one or the other, the 535 gets close but not like this. And the boost on the dunlops just add the wrong kind of gain. But the spring action is great, that resistance really helps gets that vocal effect with your foot. Then the notch feature on top of that?! A dunlop q zone is like 150 bucks alone. This pedal sounds great, has all the good features, and is a great price point for everything you get
I picked up a DJ Ashba mini today for practically peanuts. I've been an Ashba fan forever and when the original DJ wah was announced i instantly wanted. I'm so glad I've got one coming 😁😁😁
I’ve owned the bad horsie 2 mini for years and love it, but recently want a more classic wah sound closer to a crybaby (without sacrificing the Morley switchless design). After seeing this video I think the Ashba may be my ticket (if I can hunt one down). But now you also made me want a George Lynch model as well.
Both are great but the Lynch was my fav. I have an older Dunlop Hendrix Systems wah for those old school tones. I’m gonna talk to a pal at Morley this week. Perhaps I can figure out if any Ashba’s still exist.

It’s interesting that the bad horsie seems to be the most popular but trying these 3 side by side, I much prefer the Ashba and lynch wahs

I have always had to have a wah pedal on my board. I currently use a Bad Horsie, I really like that switchless design, makes it easier to just get that one note. I still have my original Thomas Organ Cry Baby from high school '79 ish, I got it used for $20.00 :0)

Absolutely! I too had a Dime wah and loved it but the Dragon was far closer to the "extreme" wah sound I wanted...and with far less "stuff" to adjust

Just got mine the other day. Definitely a well built durable pedal. By mini, I would say 75% the size of a crybaby. I dig it thus far.

I picked one up and hated the size. Took up just as much room on my board as my full size dunlop. Returned it and got a chi wah wah. Much better.

Kuba Zolnik yes I did play it, MANY years ago. It was very fun and a great sounding pedal. Just ended up being a bit too large for my liking.
