Daniel I lost track of your videos several months ago for some reason but I have them now. I've been telling these US Fountain guys about your boat but they don't believe me. Maybe you and your driver should bring your boat over here and show them what you got. Let me know so I can come watch yall blow their deck cleats off lol. 😄
Hi Daniel, nice vidz and very very nice boat, love it ! The boat was originaly powered by a triple 500 is that correct ? I see some pictures on motorteknik website, Serious upgrade here! Big respect!
Hi Emmanuel, It was two engines but I don't remember which ones, maybe two 750s? Will talk to my collegue next week and ask. Also, I will release more videos about this boat and others during the summer. Thanks for watching! :)
I'm still confused. I've been out of powerboating for well over two decades, got into sailing. But what happened to fountain marine? They were the front runners in speed boats and center consoles. And now, they're a minor thing. From what I get they went under at some point.
They are back. Reggie is a consultant, they are concentrating on center consoles, but they still have the Lightning. Maybe a couple others besides the center consoles, but my interest is the Lightning.
@@robertmorris8997 do they build nice boats? They began the whole performance center console movement. And their step hull is common now. I love the yellowfin 36 offshore though. The lines of that boat are superb. It seems those center consoles have even did some damage to the convertible market.
@@Abandoned_Brane I personally don't like any center console, but from what I understand, they are taking a pretty good chunk of the market. Strictly rumor though.

There is hardly any engine sound with the wind if you are in the boat. This particular video was a test. I'll post more videos with the original sound (engine) in the near future. Thanks for the comment Scott!

@@dieseldog00 With that much power my guess would be like 136-142. The Fountain 47 is a big heavy boat. Let me know if I guessed right when you GPS it on calm seas 😁.

No comments on the fact the bow was trimmed too far down on the bow the speed would have been faster and a better ride not plowing the bow into the waves!
I've heard that myself but have no idea if and how that works? We have a few here in Sweden and our boat was made in the U.S. (of course) and shipped to Sweden/Scandinavia.
Outerlimits put quad diesels in one of their 50s and I'm sure they got good fuel mileage from them, plus the GPS showed 112mph. Fountain puts diesels in their 48s(if they still build them).

YES, YES, AND HELL YES!
The music is cool but ya tone it down a bit
when in a 47 ft Fountain you can't help but to catch " The Fever ' !!.... thumbs up from Lake George, NY USA....
Great video. Would've liked it more without the music just the beautiful sounds of raw horsepower from those awesome motors!
