Avon Valley Railway 50th Anniversary Weekend 5th April 2024

Avon Valley Railway started out in 1974 and still going strong 50 years later in which the railway celebrated its milestone.
Two steam locos ran over the 4 day weekend which was visiting Austerity class no.7 Wimblebury from Foxfield Railway running as Glendower one of the original engines ran by now based at South Devon Railway ran the full line services.
The second engine was the Avonside Cranford visiting from the Appleby Frodingham Railway Preservation Society running the shuttles between Bitton & Oldland Common on the original shuttle trains what its sister engine Edwin Hulse did in 1974.
This was my first visit back at Avon Valley Railway for 5 years and filmed along the line.
