Severn Valley Railway 1940s weekend 2024

Absolutely superb event once again put on by the SVR! Get transported 80 years back in time to the era of the second world war. All stations were decked out in 1940s' style, with plenty of historical artefacts and events going on at each station, there really was so much to see!

BR Standard 4MT 4-6-0 75069
LMS Stanier Mogul 2-6-0 13268
GWR 4900 4-6-0 4930 'Hagley Hall'
GWR Pannier 0-6-0T 7714
Class 52 Western D1062 'Western Courier'
There was also an appearance at Bridgnorth MPD from visiting GWR 2900 Saint, 2999 'Lady of Legend', however this loco failed on the morning of the day, therefore was replaced by 7714.
