    As V. Putin rightly said:
"The break - up of the USSR was a catastrophe for Russia, as the USA try to use every former, now "independent" ex-USSR nation state as a warhead against Russia.
These baltic states make me especially sick - so tiny, so insignificant and they have sold themselves as prostitutes to the west whilst Russia could sweep them away in one short, mighty blow, if they really wanted to.
But probably the population will not go along with their "elites", but is just as helpless as we are in the west with these Melonis, Scholzes, Starmers, Macrons and whoever.
And they are all only window dummies - 10 days ago, in Rome, in the "Bulgari" shop, I ran into Mario Draghi, recognized him at once, shook his hand and told him that I would give anything to look into his head and know about the things that he knows. He kindly smiled and continues shopping for his wife and daughter...

Correct 👍👍👍 and the EU is deliberately changing itself from a trade cooperative led by a Franco-German bridgehead into a defence cooperative led by Poland and the Baltics. The problem Russia have with Georgia (and had with non ethnic Russians in Ukraine and Moldova) is that a conquered nation will never forgive its conqueror. There is still so much latent hatred for the English in Scotland, Wales and Ireland that manipulating these populations is incredibly easy. Even if a war or independence would be catastrophic for one of these nations a large part of their psyche is based on hating the conqueror, the CIA could arrange color revolutions in Scotland and Wales tomorrow and succeed (or in a year or two). I still see large amounts of hate from the Irish towards the English despite the fact they have been an independant country for over 100 years and are very successful. Most likely there is nothing the Russians can do that will every change this, thus Georgia will always have a population ripe for anti-Russian action.

Sovereignty is the precondition to sustainable development and growth and competitiveness. While the EU is restricting individual member state competitiveness and evolving towards a central planning system not unlike the SU, sovereign countries with a strategy can easily grow 2-4x as fast. A central planning system is not a market system where local demand rules, but a system that declares some average common denominator for everyone regardless whether they are Portuguese fishermen or Polish mine workers. Planning is necessary but when plans dictate individual behaviour, consumption, work models and production then needs and demands which are super complex and differentiated can never be nearly met. That is when ever more individual income is spend through central allocation which is many times less efficient than polypole markets with minimum regulation.
Simply put a large wide spread super heterogeneous system like the EU becomes ever more inefficient in it’s Innovation. And Development and prosperity are a direct function of innovation. Worse still, by brain draining the poor members of the EU these members develop a distorted demographic with skewed needs which renders them even more inefficient. Centripetal forces are always accreting more resources of the organism and more decision power. This is a natural monopolising function which leads to oligopoly markets at best and further reduces resource allocation effectiveness.
Now all this is no danger to monopolistic forces which manifest in a system‘s establishment, as long as no competing system with a DIFFERENT model emerges as more efficient.
And exactly these competing models is what we see in China and Russia. China with a completely different governance system that has been able to create staggering wealth increases over the past 40 years.
Providing 1.5 billion people with global average wealth through highly stable strategic governance.
And Russia which has been able to recover from utter desolation in just 25 years. Again through stable strategic governance.
Strategic development stability is the secret sauce.
The ability to see long term energy and infrastructure and industry development projects through and to be able to trade with any country you want the way you want.
This is why poor countries need long term stability in governance based upon which a full spectrum development strategy has space and time to be implemented and bear fruit.
Sovereignty is key, as it means governance and strategic development plans are based on the country‘s needs and demands only, and not based on outside business and investors that have completely different interests and perspectives.
This is why any foreign investment must be subordinated to internal needs and demands and through state share control this must be guaranteed.
For a developing country central strategic planning should be very strong because the catch up path forward is clear and known. Key is also to decide what to make and what to buy. And of course you should at least sell as much as you buy, else you fall into bondage and loose your sovereignty.
    In sum:
The poorer a country the more it needs stability and a transparent strategic development plan.
25-50 years is a good time frame.
What it does not need is highly fragmented oscillating governance structures. They need strong majority party governments with 66%+ majorities.
No foreign agents like NGOs. No foreign control of their assets in any shape or form.
Mechanisms to routinely cleanse corruption which is a natural feature of any system.
Governments should be continuously updated in all positions, which keeps new ideas flowing and top level corruption in check.
Trade more with equals than advanced economies to lift each other out of poverty and share experiences.
Implement good population sensory mechanisms which are hard to manipulate: for example do allow foreign agents to conduct transparent polling. This is an important feedback control instrument.
Then lean back and design a realistic target picture of your country in 50 years and then design the key strategies. Energy, Food, Infrastructure, Education, Finance, Health, Trade, Jurisdiction, the Tax system strategy, Foreign strategy, Pharma, IT and above all at least two anti corruption loops and need, demand sensory loops.
Control brain drain. Control the majority media but leave a minority non gov media, non foreign agent active as a control loop.
The top KPI is a well distributed GDP/head PPP.
Voila a recipe which is applied by China and now also Russia, with great success.🎉

I also remember how it was once talked - in Finland - about Russia joining EU. I am pretty sure Putin was positive for the idea. But I also remember note, that Germany and France would never accept Russia to join EU, because it would mean, that Russia would have lot of political power in EU, and that is not acceptable. Idea is, that Russia should do as we demand, not way that we take seriously each others, and listen also what Russia(ns) wants. So, Russia never applied to EU nor NATO, since it was clear Russia is not welcome there.

The Baltic states, especially Estonia and Lithuania seems to have little situational or self-awareness, leave alone recognition of their historical expereience. Along with Finland and Poland. Who do they think will come to rescue after all the hostile demarches towards Russia? England? France? Sweden? USA? Germany? Around the Baltic Sea, most countries were never truely de-nazified after the WWII (or monarchism after the WWI).

Alex & Alexander: Georgia in a very interesting example of socio-political processes taking place in Caucasus region. A prime example being Czechnya. Some years ago, a place of a hot terrorist proxy wars against Moscow. Now reshaped to a Russian republic taking great advantages of throwing away conflicts in favour of benefits coming from being a positive part of a big whole.
I've listened to many people of Chechnya sayibg about the big process of internal transformation of many Czechen people and Czechnya collectively speaking, a deep process of reconciliation and building an understanding that a much better life and future is within Russia rather than being a hostile body. They've also seen a life example of Uraine, that made disasterously wrong decisions and commited and actual suicide. That also was a good teaching for so many in Czechnya.
Simultaneously, we've seen a positive change in Azarbaijan.
Georgia makes another good expample of a place, a state that has opted for a good, profitable neighbourhood instead if being a US proxy tool in war against the direct and huge neignour - Russia.
This might as well lead to better relationship with Abkhazia and Souther Osetia, as all of these countries are building positive relationship with Russia.
