I'm using the ulanzi x Colman tripod and I've been using it for about 1 year now. I'm really happy with it and it works great for video and photography. I had many tripods, but sold them all because of this one
I Have just taken delivery of one of these, only took four days to arrive in UK. Fantastic top quality item, very, very well made, I'm surprised it dosent have NASA on the side of it! It's much more solid & heavier than I thought it would be but to be honest I'm going to be mounting a Nikon Z8 on it outdoors so the last thing I want is for it to blow over. Honestly you get what you pay for, this is a PREMIUM-top of the range-product with a price to match but in reality is worth every penny and some...
It looks like a very solid and well made tripod. I try to keep my payloads as light as possible, so I'm always on the lookout for smaller lite weight tripods. Great review, and thanks for sharing.
I ordered one these tripods, and received one with a damaged head. When I reached out to customer service for a replacement, this what they said: Dear Customer May I ask if the product was like this as soon as you received it? Or was it caused by dropping it during use. From your video we see that it is slightly warped, you can gently tap it against the wall to see if you can put it back in place. Best regards, Eyre Ulanzi Customer Service Assistant.
What are your feelings on the longevity of Ulanzi as a company? This Tripod has a lot of features worthy of the price, but not in "my" disposable range if I cannot get parts for it in the future. I currently have Manfrotto and 3 Legged Thing but looking at a Travel Tripod.
@Applefanboy2012 I ended you buying it...first one ..the spring in the head died (spring lock) ...and they immediately sent me a new head ...ulanzi are great to deal with..love the tripod
I am only watching this because it came up in my recommendations, which of course is what happens when you start down the rabbit hole. That said, it does look nice…but not nicer than the Heipi Travel Tripod that I ended up choosing.
Hello,,, love your feed... I met you at the Airborne Public Safety Association (APSA) booth at AUVSI in San Diego, APSA is a board member of ours. You asked me to reach out to you on your channel. I've done that a few times and am hoping you'll possibly get back to us. We would appreciate your help in spreading the word about the great work we are doing to support underfunded public safety departments, enabling them to receive life-saving drone technology. Is that of interest to you?
In 'vertical mode' looks very wobbly, lens vibrating back and forth like a rattlesnake... th-cam.com/video/QVIXuJSLklw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5d3pb3UtR34YYpYD&t=208 ...is that due to the ball-head or the tripod? - I presume the ball-head.
This is the ultimate travel tripod
Ulanzi coman f38 is the best tripod I’ve owned and this one looks even better but it’s double the price.
I'd still like to see a review of this tripod from a non-influencer who actually bought it with his/her own money.
Sounds good. Let me know how it differs 👍

@@bestbass42 agree
Im thinking about getting one too, can i ask you where you purchased it from and if you had to pay UK customs and taxes. Thanks
@@NomiSan521 Ulanzi's own site is running a Black Friday deal on it at $389.
what are your thoughts about using the tripod and putting a fluid head on there for video?

Great review Sir! This tripod seems perfect for travel photography. I especially like the built-in spikes and the Arca-Swiss plate compatibility.
This definitely looks sturdy. Can always rely on Ulanzi for quality products.
Hope they add that universal arca Swiss compatibility to their video heads!
hello sir
i used nikon d5200 with L plate ... is L plate fit on this tripod head

What is that bag that you pulled the tripod out??
How about using it in cold weather or cold climates? Will the ball head still be functional?
👍🏻 for an American who speaks in metric
good day. professional travel. godspeed~ 🤩
Will it fit the L brackets? I don't like plates.
Yes. It does.

Looks like it can be locked into place and tightened
Fallcam sounds very scary to me
I wouldn’t recommend this ulanzi company, bad experience. My friend warned me previously.
twist locks!! ahh i'll pass
These are a different kind of twist locks. You can’t over loosen. They can only be turned 1/3 turn
