You have done an excellent Job!!!!! I have a similar boat, with the same outboard, and I use it in the traditional way, but it is a little bit uncomfortable, your invention is outstanding!
Freakin ingenious !!! My fix would've been so ugly and included 5 huge rolls of duct tape 🤣 I'm thinking of getting a 133X for the river and love ur vids 👍🍻🎣
Badass for sure. I think I'm also going to have to drill some holes for access. What do you call the plugs or caps you ordered to snap in the holes? I'm going a different direction than you are adding a Bluetooth 4 speaker system and led spotlights but hope someday to add a gas motor to get me across big bodies of water. Hope to see some current videos of how it is working out. You definitely know what your doing. Thanks for all the tips
We no longer know anything about how your kayak is doing. Do you recommend that I do it the same as yours? Everything is going well because I like how you set it up. Please tell me something. Thank you.
I only have a 3.5 hp mercury, and I want to incorporate the struts like you have, but I don't want to drill into my motor, do you think it would work as well attaching the bars to the corner of the mount instead?
It’s better incorporate a higher triangular angle, which will be better for the thrust that the motor puts out. And spreading it out over a larger footprint so the support is not all in one spot.
@@thejuanderdude7911, thank you, I understand. I am also trying a brace on the back wall of the kayak, just above the water line, that received the motor shaft and stops the hinge effect on the mount. Maybe a combination of the two.

Nice work!
Nice video dude!!👊🏽
I like very much what you did.
What size of motor is that?
Isn't that too much engine for this little boat ?
