- South Korea has lifted most of its social distancing rules which had first been in place since March 2020. Starting last Monday, there are no more size limits on social gatherings,... and businesses can open for 24 hours a day. This means people can gather with as many people as they want,... without curfews. And many seemed excited. From next week...people will be permitted to eat at sports stadiums, movie theaters and on public transport. They'll also make a decision soon on lifting the outdoor mask mandate.

It's quite nice seeing what Seoul looks like during different times of the year and what people wear for comfort. The city looks like it is getting ready for more people, which is also nice. With the restrictions for gatherings ending I hope you will be busy taking wedding photographs and family occasion pictures. Korea through your eyes and steps is very beautiful. I'm happy for all the new students there as well as those who are visiting. The locals like yourself must feel a little thrill in the air! So nice to see this park again, (Forest Line Park). I walked it many times when staying in Yeonam dong. Brings back so many memories.
Be sure to check our the restaurant Travel Maker for American breakfasts. It was on of the few restaurants that did it pretty good.
I used to walk the whole line, sometimes going off and checking out ally ways to see whats hidden in them.
Seems its more crowded than it was when I was there before the pandemic. People are getting a little too excited about being able to move around and making places too busy now.
back to normal there? sounds good... I hope it's happen for traveling too.. cant wait to go back to traveling korea again.. ❤️
It's nice to see people out and about. Praying that one day soon things will be back to a new normal. My grandson who has been sick for the last 8 months has asked to go to Seoul next year if he stays in remission. I'm going to share this with him. That is my promise to him, God willing. IMHO, It's not a "back to normal life" if 99% of people still wear mask. I find that a bit awesome and sad at the same time.
@@horus6915 Hehe, same point! Here in Sweden, as soon as the Ukraine invasion broke out, Covid disappeard... No one wearing masks and nobody talks about it anymore, not in the news either...
@Joel Öman Masks should be mandatory until the virus is completely gone which isn't going to be any time soon.
@@horus6915 Wearing masks is a novelty only in the West. East Asians wore masks on a daily basis way before COVID and it isn't a concept frowned upon in Asia. People wear it due to many reasons including etiquette, fashion, health etc. so no need to be sad mate.
