We all at Trip Machine are enjoying yet another great review of the wingman side panel bag. Thank you for everything you are doing for Trip Machine with all love and support
Can I fit the left side onto a Triumph Bonneville?? I ordered a left side last night and forgot these are for Royal Enfields...ooops. Tried cancelling but no reply...ordered less than 12 hours ago...;/
Hi my friend, we met today at the motorcycle shop where you had two new tires put on. I really enjoyed you taking the time to share your journey with me. Fascinating story!! All the best to you sir. ✌️🏍️
Good Morn'n from an artic Minnesota. These bags look to be well built and practical. In the future there's no need to freeze in the driveway... that's why they invented the living room. Cheers. 😎
Stunning! The shape of the Interceptor side panels lend themselves perfectly to this bag. At first glance I thought oh dear, they're gonna scuff the paint and it'll need some of that 3m protection film. Then I realised they came with their own side panels. What a well thought out product 👌.
Yesterday I got my brand new Interceptor 650. Thanks Stu for your reviews and comments it helped a lot to clear out doubts. Greetings from Patagonia Argentina
Wow! Such an obvious and simple design you'd think more people would have thought of this... perfect for carrying a few essential items thanks for enduring the cold to bring it to us
Good morning Sir! I just got my Wingman panel bags yesterday here in NYC and they look so good! Installing the bracket on the left side was a challenge but I managed. If Trip Machine isn't already a sponsor, maybe they should be since the only reason I got these side bags was because I saw them here. Thank you for all of your very informed videos!
saw these yesterday on their site. this is exactly what i’ve been looking for and how nice to get the whole matching set with the larger bags for the rear!
Side panel bags, what a great idea. Been riding snice 71 and never thought of this or seen them. They look perfect for the MC manufacturer sell as an accessory, for an extreme markup.
Just fitted a set to my Continental GT. I'm so glad I watched your film first Stuart, exactly the same problem with the wiring on the left hand side. If I hadn't seen you battle with it I think i would have assumed I'd been sent a faulty bracket or something. Glad I persevered, They look really good and no issues with feeling them with riding.
Fitted one to my Conti GT. The GT doesn't really lend itself to panniers, they just spoil the lines of the bike IMHO. This was a great option to get that little bit of extra storage.
I have fitted this side panel bag on my interceptor, its very useful. But I had one minor issue which can been seen in the video at @23:13 , the prong in the left buckle (on the left wing panel) stands out in a poky manner, I overcame this by punching a new hole btw two existing holes to get a sung fit for the prong against the buckel frame.
Another perfect video and step by step with exceptions and problems with installation. Lovely bags, would buy one for my W800 cafe if I could find one. They look perfect on the bike.
Nicely demonstrated Stu, I must say. They do look perfectly at home on the bike so I also think I would probably keep them permanently when fitted. (I note the muslin bags that the leather bags come in are perfectly good to store the original panels and fixings for the duration). Very nice. 👍
Just bought a pair using your link and discount code - Thank you for sharing these, they are just what I've been looking for to put on the gt650, and the nicest set Ive come accross! Now to wait patiently for them to get to NZ!
Good morning uncle stu. Interesting vid i could listen to you all day has for the episode before this one, its nice to put the voice to a face, but do what you're happy with mate, just keep the good work up. Ride safe.
My additional touring capacity used to be a large pair of throwovers placed in front of my hard panniers. A bit difficult when kickstarting and a bit hard to sit on for a prolonged period but worth it for the load-lugging capacity.
Very nice video and very nice product. What it is not perfectly clear is if the bags actually interfere with your legs when you are riding (I mean, riding, not just sitting on the bike).
When I was learning to ride I placed too much pressure with my legs on the left side panel and broke the plastic retainer. Knowing you don't need it anymore just made this an Insta buy! Also, I made similar bags for my bike a few years back and I can tell GT owners that with the slightly rear controls on this model you will feel the bags a little but not in a wat that it becomes uncomfortable. Great video!
Ooohhh. I wonder if they'll do them for the Classic ? Only because I've finally pulled the trigger on a clone of yours. Next week hopefully. Apart from the-2 freezing fog test ride I enjoyed it. I'm local to you so I'll give you a nod if I spot you 👍
Great video per usual - the gold standard of YT motorcycle channels! Would be curious to see how they perform while riding and looking forward to hearing your thoughts on that. I own a Classic 350 - considering adding the Interceptor to the stable. Torn between it and the Kawasaki W800.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’ve installed the bag on the left side, that came with no instructions, and I had some problems. 1) The problem with the wiring loom, I solved it as you did it, pushing the cables in being careful not to shift them too much otherwise they interfere with the plugs of the seat. 2) The fixing bracket does not fit perfectly in the frame, and this is not because of the above mentioned problem: the inclination angle of the right side of the bracket does not correspond to the angle of the frame exactly. 3) The 2 screws that secure the bag to the brackets are too short! No matter in what angles I was trying, they could not reach the bottom of their socket resulting in the screws spinning freely, especially the left one so I had to buy two 5x40 mm screws (originals are 5x30 mm).
Nice looking side bags, better then the one's I've seen from other venders. Would go nicely with my tank bag and and outlander saddle bags both from Trip Machine , maybe I'll have a go and get one. I would have liked to see what it looks like with you on the bike to see it hits your leg. Cheers//// My mistake I missed the beginning where you did sit on the bike 🤭 I ordered one for my right side . Love those pannier racks I put a set on mine after you had them on your channel they don't detract the look of the bike.
What a fantastic setup! Lovely bags, nice hardware, and look like an OEM product. I wish/hope they come up with something for the Royal Enfield Classic 350 I'd be in for sure! Thank you for the nifty video... Ride Safe 🙏🏼
Well, I think Rolls Royce would struggle to come up with something as well made and well thought through as these bags are, for any of their own vehicles. Really impressive and a great video too Stu 🙂
What a great product. I missed your video from a couple of weeks ago. A hard bag with soft looking trim (I'm thinking Victory Cross Road bags) would look very nice and be capable of better weather protection.
I bought my interceptor 3 years ago and has been practically trouble free the only major problem i had was a malfunction on the speedo but norminring in Davao replaced it on warranty i have just been on a road trip to ozamis round trip of 900k with no problems i am lmpresed
Another good video Stu up to the ‘Fillingham’ standard, those trip machine side bags look good although not for me they do look a high quality item one I’m sure one of your subscribers’The Moog’ will probably be buying 😉👍🏻
Think I may have asked before Stuart, but where did you buy your chain link bracelet from? My cousin used to have one in the 70's and would like to get one in his memory
Thanks for the heads up on the black ......but that's not the colour I'd go for ! 2 reasons , Black leather bags scream Harley to me so they might as well have tassles and metal studs ! & black wouldn't match my tobacco trip machine panniers ! Think I'd just go for the right hand one as well just to be contrary ! Must show you my new rear Motone light !
Hi, I really love the look of these bags.are there any issues with a short leg rider touching these bags when putting my feet on the ground? Please thank.
Great side bags Stuart. Will look good on my Interceptor. I notice that you have fitted rear carrier mounts to your bike. Did I miss a video on those? If not can you tell me where you got them please. Paul
Thanks for the video - purchased a set of these for my bike. I'm wondering how well they work with your Longride saddle bags. Is there any physical overlap between the two when both are mounted?
Not for me thanks. However far more sensible choice than the ones that go one top of the existing panels then scratch the hell out of them. Rack and whatever size bag I bungee on it is still I feel far more practical. Also if you have to remove the tool kit , you’d need to put it in the side bag , is their space for much more luggage ?
Hi Stuart, have you washed the bike with these on? Do you think the rain covers are good enough to protect the bags during washing ( I don’t use a pressure washer)?
Stuart, awesome review as always but can you give an update as to any interference when you’re actually sat on the bike? Do they totally clear your legs when riding and/or feet down? Just wondering if they dig in your thighs. I’ve done some searching and there seems to be no pictures of anyone sat on the bike when they’re fitted, not even on Trip Machine’s website!
@@stuartfillingham oooooooh yea 🙈. These TH-cam commenters eh?! We should really get our facts straight before pushing send 😆 My bad, thanks for replying and again, thanks for your work!

I don’t have a RE. But, I can vouch for the quality of Trip Machine. My tank bag is outstanding…
Thanks Uncle Stu for another very good video. May I also respectfully suggest that you could do with a larger garage space!
Thanks uncle Stu I already have
Tripmachine messager bags fitted as paniers but I will give them a look
Excellent review Stuart! And an excellent product!

Excellent review of this product, the positives and minuses. A comprehensive step by step guide of how to fit . What’s not to like
A simple but very good idea. Better that wearing 1 those leg bags that

Since the one bad covers the air filter does it impede the airflow? Thank you Stew and Cheers from Salem, Ohio US.
One thing missing is how they line up with the rider's legs? Do they create any contact points, or change leg position?
