Exactly, the driver would have had a traumatic experience mentally. That driveway is an accident prone area, even if one is slow, a child popping up out of nowhere is a hard scenario to handle.
This happened to my little brother recently he was on a quad bike riding with my mom and then the bike flipped and my baby brothers head opened and my mom was ok cause she wore a helmet 😞😢
I'm a three-year-old dad, and I've cried my eyes out for Ronan... Can't imagine how devastated I would be if this happens to my son... So glad Ronan is allright

You learn how to deal with it. In school they teach you to watch things like it's on TV. That being said, you're still human and some things just get to you.
Doing my Paramedic training I had the pleasure of learning under Sammy (the older female paramedic), she’s an absolutely brilliant clinician and it’s amazing to watch her in action.
This is going to sound odd but i appreciate you showing fellow appreciation for a female medic..a lot of men would prefer male medics "men do it better" trope, so its nice when a woman receives the appreciation she deserves.

I know, how sweet was that. I think the horse was a little confused, ready to run off with his friends, then saw the lass on the ground..he was like, hang on, that’s not right, what are you doing down there. Horses are awesome beasts.
If you think that the helmet the boy wore didn't do any good for him, then think twice. Imagine if you were in that situation and had no helmet on. You'd be looking like a bloody mashed potato at this point.

I’ve fallen off a horse when I was young. The horse slipped in a patch of mud at a full gallop. Thank *GOD* all that happened to me AND the horse was getting covered in mud‼️ I STILL LOVE to ride‼️😆
I did the same thing at nearly the same age - rode out from between two parked cars and *BAM* ... I hit the asphalt and got my chin split open. Scared the car driver and my dad really bad. Thank God the driver had amazing reflexes! I'll tell 'ya... I never rode into the street again, without looking first and being safe after that!
Yep same here I can remember few months ago there was a crash nearby my house and they guy on the bike was seriously injured. The ambulance we called never came. So me and my friend decided to take him to the hospital by ourselves. We reached on time and he survived
It's the surprise. His body is already getting "used" to the pain from the accident, and now a new pain in a completely different location happens. If you're barely conscious and don't know what's happening, can't comprehend what's happening, and you suddenly feel a pain in your arm, I think you'd scream as well.
