Tariq is right. I went to Jamaica for spring break one year and couldn’t believe how underdeveloped the towns were where the locals lived as we were going to our resort. We stayed close to the resort and I kept my passport on me at all times. I was never so glad to leave a place.

Tariq is right. I went to Jamaica for spring break one year and couldn’t believe how underdeveloped the towns were where the locals lived as we were going to our resort. We stayed close to the resort and I kept my passport on me at all times. I was never so glad to leave a place.

I’ve been to Jamaica and other Caribbean islands. The resorts are nice. Visiting outside of the resorts, it’s visually apparent that the native don’t own anything. A little boy tried to sell me 1 stick of chewing gum for more than what it was worth. And Yes, they do sell fruit on the side of the roads.
