- Creating an ALL OVER ICY BLONDE. I don't LOVE putting bleach on the scalp because of all of the inconsistencies that can occur in your coloring and toning, but I am sooo happy with the end result! i love the color, well done! I love also how your client fells like "at home" having her salad while she waits for the color to develop. My clients do this in my salon and feels like we are taking care of them in every level.

@@justjessiiii nothings wrong with it. The person edited their comment. The comment originally said it was amazing that you achieved that color and didn’t even need to tone it. As a stylist myself, I was pointing out that half the process was toning and it was mentioned several times.

I always add sweet and low artificial sweetener to my on scalp bleach or high lift colors. Helps so much! This is an icy dream!

Girl you nailed this I have a love hate with on scalp I just love how bright and shockingly unnatural it looks lol but it is soooo hard to have it even I love the way you did this though with the second toner at the root because it’s not like a shadow root or dark but it just has a touch of depth at the root and it makes it really bright but liveable

i love how you recommend to clients if they are darker than a certain shade to have highlights instead of an on-scalp bleach, alot of stylists just think about the money & damage their clients hair more than it needed to be!

Nice color. I usually would light up the roots again with 7vol for less then 45 mins to knock out that yellow then tone my client hair.

You can use a packet of Splenda in your bleach and it doesn’t itch at all. Or get the product called antidot it’s meant for bleach/colour sensitivity

Can you tell me what you recommend for clients after the first couple of washes when their hair likes to turn warm and brassy again so that the extensions keep matching? Do you clarify and purple shampoo? Do they come in for another toner? I usually wash once a week and always purple shampoo but I very quickly turn and since my hair isn’t the same texture as hair extensions (I have to get a Brazilian blowout a few times a year) you can really tell my hair doesn’t match to the extensions anymore no matter how much I curl them and try to blend them. My hair will try to separate and the color also ends up being off 😭 I’m so ready to buy these exact color if you have it in a halo style and some clip ins!

How many rows of extensions did you put in? I have the same hair as your sister, length and thickness and I have 2 rows of sew-ins and I’ve been debating for a 3rd row just so the short length at the top of my head blends a little better!

I’ve been trying the goldwell 10s for awhile too, and I can’t get them to tone enough. I always have to go back with shades. I’m not sure why they won’t tone enough 🤷🏼♀️
Sprite or diet coke? I've heard that sweet n low packets do the same thing.
I’m thinking it’s more the aspartame. I just search for more gentle lighteners for sensitive scalp. I like the joico blonde life lightener. I have a scalp that cannot stand lightener I almost have a panic attack with the itch and burn. Tried Schwarzkopf, Redken, guy tang ones. But it could also just be a person to person thing.

How would you approach this if a level 3 client wanted an all over silver level 9/10 ?
Use 20 vol and leave it on longer, cover with processing cap so it doesn’t dry out. Take very thin sections, make sure to saturate and do not overlap.
platinum card. foil the entire head in 1/8 sections, leaving1/2 from root untouched. when mids to ends are starting to lift, pull foils down slightly and apply your lightner to roots
It is still a little yellow here and there in die length and ends. Maybe shades would be a better choice next time
Do you have any recommendations to heal scabs on the scalp? I live the icy blonde lifestyle and it hurts so bad - I have scabs everywhere from my last bleach 😢
They should not be burning your scalp with bleach to the point that you have scabs. Obviously your body will heal the burns just leave them alone till they heal and don’t ever go back to whoever gave you chemical burn
I agree with the other comment, no stylist should ever leave you with scabs on your scalp. I put a pump of Moroccan oil in on scalp lightener and sometimes color for clients with sensitive scalps and I’ve never had anyone scab or itch when I do this :)
I’d find a new stylist!! I’ve had scabs cause I did it myself and those hurt but a stylist should never do that! Bio oil will help! I use it on my self harm scars and it helps a lot

can you help me? im wanting to go darker with my hair but im not sure what shade and level to go with. my Inso is Kourtney kardashian. its almost black but not quite. more of just a dark brown. I just dont want the black/blue shade or the dark brown to be too warm. what do you think would be the best color?
