yes the song is older (11 years old almost) but it‘s not from their „earlier days“. This songs is on their 6th album 😂 they‘ve already been around for 7 years at this point.
@@ippotsk i wouldn't call 2013 their peak.. They obviously grew a lot after this era. If you mean their "peak" in terms of music then I also wouldn't agree. It might be the favorite sound of a lot of people, but objectively their music continued to improve as well (even if the the type of music changed).
I met him in Denver and got to chat with him. His English was flawless! His first US tour he couldn’t speak much, but now that he is fluent he mentioned this most recent tour in the US was a lot more fun for him. His voice is absolutely insane, even live it’s mind blowing, and his stage presence is incredible. He’s also like the nicest guy ever!! It’s definitely a dream of me and my brother to see him in Japan as well.
Kenshin movie soundtrack The Beginning made me a fan of One Ok Rock, then i watched first Asia tour vip 2016 so many good memories for me Waiting for another concert this last quarter 2023
You’re going to have to know someone Japanese living in Japan to get a One Ok Rock ticket for any venue in Japan. Their dome/stadium venues sell out immediately and Japan sells concert tickets through a national lottery system. As a foreigner you have pretty much zero chance of getting a ticket. The lottery system also means there are no third party vendors selling tickets at inflated prices.
It was a whole challenge but this year I did manage to get a ticket for their Japan Tour thanks to a proxy service! So there is a thin chance for us foreigners if you go through a service like that, even though I have to admit it was a very long and complicated process😅 Still glad I got to make that dream come true thanks to it though. The guy I contacted was Jun from Ticket Japaaan and I think that his fees are quite fair for the service he provides; just letting people know, if you ever plan to see OOR live in Japan you might want to check him out .
This group started my jpop and kpop journey. Their connection with my favorite Japanese actor Takeru Satoh.(Rurouni Kenshin) and anime OST. Love this band .

I love this song!! Such an amazing song! They are an amazing band! They used this song for the first Rurouni Kenshin movie. The lead actor Takeru Satoh loves them. They are his favorite band. In fact they do all three of the original movies.
This song is an OST for the first Rurouni Kenshin movies, they went on to make OSTs for all of the Rurouni Kenshin movies. Another OST I would recommend is One Ok Rock- Broken Heart of Gold.
I was watching them even before they blew up. Discovered them in yt and has been following them since. They deserve the fame they have right now... 💗💗💗💗
What! You didn't watch a live version first? Haha. The Beginning was THE song that got me into ONE OK ROCK! It was the very first song I had heard by them and I was instantly hooked. Also, much luck to you on obtaining tickets for a Tokyo concert, I hear it's not easy lol.
You should react to the live version of it. Either live from Yokohama stadium Mighty long fall tour or from Eye of a storm tour :) For the next one I recommend Good goodbye live from 35xxxv tour.

Lol, as much as I would LOVE to see them perform in Japan, I'll have to wait until they return to New York...much closer to me here in New Jersey! The fans will be just as terrific; I saw The Last Rock Stars in NYC in February with Yoshiki, Hyde, Miyavi, and Sugizo, and only true fans of all these amazing Japanese artists attended and they were warm, attentive, and rockin'!!! To add to the excitement, Band Maid opened for them, and the building literally shook!! Back to One Ok Rock...they are still the best there is right now!
I see them twice, last time they go to Montreal with Muse and Evanescence and the first time with 5 seconds of summer. And i see Miyavi back in october and he was sooo cool and warm ❤️❤️
