Could you eventually do this for a Mac computer? I'm currently still on an iPhone 6s Plus with the 14.7.1 Checkra1n jailbreak, and want to upgrade fairly soon. I believe the iOS 15.8 update is the very last update for this phone, so if there's a way to do this jailbreak on a Mac that'd be great. Thanks

hi, I'm on iphone 6s. I tried the procedure several times but it won't proceed to installing the palera1n. it just reboots after it enters the recovery mode. what to do?
It should work .. which winra1n version you used ? Can you please change the port? Use 3.0 port... And try a different one too. It will work. As the last resort, you can use palen1x instead

Everytime I go to recovery mode after releasing the side button it shows the iphone logo and if i keep hold the volume down as it shows on the steps phone says connect to iTunes if I let go both buttons after 3 seconds of recovery mode the phone restart and no apps are installed in the phone and I don't see anything on computer says it's done and I'm back to where I started
You can try restoring fresh to 15.8.1 and use winra1n then. Or dopamine.
Very Clear explanation I just don't get once I do all the process and My Iphone 6 Se is Jeilbroken if it turns off and I try to restart it, it goes back to a real Iphone and this I very well know, the point is, how can I re-jailbreak once it goes off?

Thanks for appreciating. And the process is simple, just use ROOTFUL option without creating fakeFS.... If it is stuck, make sure you HAD created the fakefs first ... Or you can reboot and try again ... Also remove passcode and erase all content and settings before or it will panic.

hey man i keep trying but it keeps saying that the USBDK driver failed to load so i have to restart. not sure what to do? i have definitley installed it and have restarted many times. trying on rootless if that matters?

@@BurhanRana yes I tried this also but the program fails and says it recommends using USBDK.
I have also reset the iPhone and this time the program runs until the "Booting..." stage and says "[Error Timeout! device not found. please try again. The phone also gets stuck on the apple logo with another logo placed on top of it. the phone remains like this until i hold power and home buttons and the phone boots normally.

No no rootful is the traditional one while rootless is where root is not written to.... In both you have to rejailbreak each time you reboot

Run the process.... Select the checkra1n icon and from there you can start with DFU.

I know there's usually no help comment whatsoever on these type of comment but when I am into DFU mode in the checking process there's an error saying "Please restart you're device and try again" but when i do so it keeps saying the same thing. Is it something i can do to solve that
Yes yes don't worry . If you did not install USBDK, install it.... And reboot once... Then try again. If you did already then UNCHECK USBDK from winra1n and try again .... Happened to me once on ipad n this is the solution

@@BurhanRana I had tried to downgrade from 16 to 14 and it got stuck after the Ramdisk booting ( localhost closed by remote host). But iOS 15 I haven't tried it yet. All I do on macOS Big Sur and iPhone X 16.7.2 (main os)
When its getting on dfu mode, at the 4 second, it does nothing, like if winra1n disconnected from the ipad

Yes works on Intel. Did you install USBDK? If you did , did you reboot? Also try installing then unchecking USBdk from winra1n... Also it is happening on Rootless as well?

This didn't work for me. I have ios 15.8 on my Iphone 7+, put it into DFU mode and do the steps my screen just goes black and my phone stays like that for 10 minutes.

Is Winrain a complete jailbreak? Well, if the phone restarts, the jail will remain, right?
@@vetementsfashion The jailbreak and the settings are still there when the phone restarts, but you have to put it through Winrain again. Though there are some tweaks for it to prevent this, for example a tweak that prevent the phone to completely shut down when you are out of battery.

Yes there will be NEKOJB... IT WILL work UpTo 15.7.6... so you can downgrade to that version... But again... How will you set nonce to downgrade with or without jailbreak without home as again it will need to get to DFU? This is the issue. Can't you get it fixed?

You can use futurerestore but it will use iOS 16 SEP so I would say please don't... Because it will likely fail... Stay on 14.6 n if you lose app support, use appstore++ or other tweak to downgrade those apps n enjoy
