I just bought two Shaw drills, used. I was wondering if you have any personal experience with the overburden bit-how far can one penetrate through overburden with this bit? Once through the overburden, can you switch to the diamond bit to penetrate outcrop? I see this drill as a replacement for expensive RCV drilling, but have yet to have proved this to project Geologists.
