DIY Captain America Shield Out of Cardboard

Welcome to my new content everyone! Make it Cheap! in this content I'm gonna make cool stuffs from movies or video games, just like the ‪@hacksmith‬ but my version is low budget LOL.
On the first episode of Make it Cheap, I make a Captain America Shield out of cardboard.
These are materials you need:
-Cardboard
-Wood glue (optional)
-Hot glue (optional)
-Hard foam
-Masking Tape
-White wall paint (gray primary paint is recommended especially for metallic color)
-Sand Paper
-Spray paint (red. blue, silver)
-Belt (optional)
PS: The width of the rings are 2.6 Inches, silly me, I said 20.6 Inches in the video hehe...

Bro I tried wood glue on the shield but it wasn't worked, then I just boiled sugar and water, then I applied raw mesh on the shield, the it's done btw great video wonderful work!

hi! great video! i went to replicate this shield and im using an old yoga mat for the foam. i personally don't rlly care if my shield is as great looking as urs but i was wondering if the thickness of the foam is important. mine is thick (exactly a centimeter thick). would that work? how thick should it ideally be? thanks so much in advance!

Hi there, thank you! The foam thickness is affecting the shield shape. If the foam is too thin, the shield might look wavy or bumpy. 👍👍
