Well.. its a single 10" and dual side 10" "boosters" So the "boosters" are just some kind of round rubber plate things.. not actual speakers.. But they do a pretty good job boosting the bass =D
When you put in a new playback device (ex. Speakers or your iPod) windows sets the plugged in device to a new profile. The profile is at default I believe is 20. So that's your answer.
