    I love how you did the front and especially the rear suspension on this bike. I have been looking to build one from scratch and I think I have found it here. I think I will stick with one drive wheel but I bet two really take the bumps and smooth them out. I subscribed!

      +1crazynordlander Thank you. I think id start with something much simpler for my first build but if you think youre up to it then go for it :) The two piece frame is not ideal like i said it has to be built much heavier than a standard frame but it works. I beat on this bike pretty hard and its held up well. Good luck and thanks for subing

    Now I like this little unit this is a cool little ride! A third wheel with a little track would be cool and a ski on the front. So what do you call it " SCRATCH"

    you could build a track for it and run it with a ski in the winter I was looking at some of the fat cat Honda bikes on here wouldn't it be neat to build one like yours but with the fat boy Honda bike and put a track on the back of it.

  • @chuck8261

    has there been any issues running the center mounted axle point? wasn't sure if you hit any bumps or holes if the front tire would dig in and cause any issues. I'm guessing the rider weight keeps the wheels balanced/planted. thanks for any reply

    • @jeep2003
      @jeep2003  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Generaly its pretty good. I had a sprocket loosten up the set screws wouldnt hold it anymore which is normal so i had to take it apart and put in spacers. Also at first the fender didnt have a brace in front so it was just flappy enough that it caught the air filter and mangled it. I shortened the filter and put a brace on and its good now. I guess the wheels come up pretty far on the gnarly bumps but it hasnt been any major issue. Very happy with this bike its been very reliable and the best riding mini bike iv ever had. I put alot of miles on it beating on through the woods.

    how far are you away from Maine! I take it you are in the states? I am going to put a mini bike club together and have a run once a year about fifty miles round trip. I live up in NB Canada but the run is up in my home town in the Ottawa Valley area in the Laurention mountains. I have a frame which is a arctic scattt with tires it is primed and I have to put it back together I wish I had the original motor maybe someday I will come by one. I have the bike since I was ten I remember running it and the clutch burnt out in it. and stuck on I would take it and put it on the kick stand and start it and drop it down and away I would go and I remember my father saying your going to hurt yourself with it. I never got hurt I remember buying it for forty dollars from a kid down the road. When I get the club up and running you should come up and ride with us. I am fifty but still fifteen at hart...

    Bruh it’s scrap not scratch I don’t see scratches on the bike lol and if you built it all from “scratch” did you build the engine too... NAH also the metal you ain’t make from the scratch but maybe you built the frame by ideas not scratch lol
