How is the scale today? I've seen reports that the Mini is prone to some problems and inconsistency, which doesn't happen as much with the Timemore Basic 2. Do you think the Mini has a faster response time than the Basic 2? It makes any difference?
We use this scale every day and love its simplicity. We did encounter some inconsistency issues at first, but we found out it was due to small particles on the table surface. This scale is super sensitive to any unevenness, so make sure the surface is completely clean and flat. Other than that, we haven’t had any problems. We really enjoy using it-so much so that we don’t even bother with the flow rate function, haha!
How does this compare in size to the Black Mirror Nano? If it’s as small as the Nano, it solves a couple of problems that the Nano has (side buttons, inability to display elapsed time and flow rate simultaneously). I’m searching for a good scale for my Flair 58. This ticks all the boxes…if it fits under the 58.
I ordered one of these and just received it. It’s only slightly larger than the Black Mirror Nano (10cm x 11.4cm), and will display elapsed time and flow rate simultaneously. It works very well with the Flair 58, which is what I bought it to use with. I bought from AliExpress, and it took about two weeks to reach me in middle Tennessee.
@@johnmpifer its actually a mm smaller than the Nano in width and depth and even 3mm flatter than the Nano. So its actually way better compatible with portafilter machines than the Nano, additionally the Buttons on top make it waaay easier to use than the Nano.
@@halloichbinsamuel Where are you seeing your measurements? Can you provide a link? From what I found online, the Nano is 10cm x 9cm and the Mini is 10cm x 11.4cm. The nano is advertised as being able to fit in the Flair 58 drip tray, and the mini definitely does not (I now own the Mini).

Is the battery rechargeable? Just connect this cable to a laptop to charge the scale?
Yes, it is.
@ connect it to a laptop?

Awesome, hope you like it :)
How does it compares to the nano?
Looks like it’s larger.
I think it’s only called the “mini” because it’s thinner than the standard Black Mirror.
@@johnmpifer I bought one just because I don’t need to change between weight and flow rate
@@ElTejocotetlI’ve discovered that it is actually very close to the size of the Nano. Only about 1mm wider and 1mm longer, I think.
I ordered one.
Is it made from abs plastic or aluminium?
Don’t feel like plastic, properly aluminum
where did you bought it?
Where can we buy this?
Wait what is this even used for? Like whats the functionality
So Im pretty sure we are all given an option when we buy it if we want to live in San Junipero.
It's a weighing scale for coffee.
@@rohitg8x why do you need it?
bro this isn’t anywhere online where did you get it?

@@eriksmuiznieks7403 that’s where I found it as well, actually bought it too I’m just waiting for it to arrive
