After listening to this album on repeat for 3 days now. I am absolutely hooked. What a great album AGAIN! 8 years was definitely worth the wait.

Heard this in a record store. Bought it because loved what I heard. Never heard of the band before.
Put the album on and listened to it "old school" start to finish.
Absolutely love it. Can't stop listening to it.

Mercer was lead singer for the Shins - all of their albums are awesome. "Past and Pending" my favorite

they've def got big esoteric mysticism themes throughout - their first song "The High Road" has similar Garden of Eden references
I love this album. Your music changes my perception of reality for the better. The sharp edges melt away and peace and tranquility shine through like the morning sun at the edge of the forest. Thank you for this.
Last time I heard an album this good was roughly 8 years ago by someone who made an album...something about a disco. I really liked that one and I like this one better!

This track is a true stunner .. it gets surgically placed in your mind by Mercers excellent songwriting.

can we get some official lyrics? the vocals on this song and a few others on the album are mixed so low it's hard to make out. for example, despite knowing what is being sung, the "fade away" line in this song is just barely on the edge of listening. I don't understand this shoegaze type approach, but the lyrics would help. please and thanks!

The second I heard that guitar kick in the chorus it got me HOOKED. The reverb and chorus effect reminds me of the Cure. What an amazing song to close off an incredible album

Am I the only one thinking about Chromatics when listenning to the intro and all those cold pianos and guitars effects throughout the song ?
I mean it sounds litterally like an instrumental by The Chromatics, and they also had an album called Faded Now, and a title named Into The Black.
Are these coincidences or a well calculated tribute to the former indie band ?
